Two css value sets needed for links

Hi I have "<a href...> text links on my site, by default, set to color: #000000 with a hover color: #ff0000 This works well for black text that turns red when against the yellow background. What I need to know, is what to do about when the links are against a red background. I need a second set of v...

Re: Major problem since installing Gym Sitemaps MOD

Thanks Kevin, that's certainly solved a major headace for me.

Mind me asking if you know how these images got there in the first place? I didn't "ask" for them as such. I'm puzzled by how it happened, but glad that I know how to get around the problem should it happen again.

Thanks once more

Breadcrumb trail question

Hi Can someone please help? I'd like to use images as seperators in a breadcrumb trail, rather than the "‹" syntax that is currently used and was wondering if it was possible? I notice that an icon image for the board index is referred to as <li class="icon-home"> and that this points to the f...

Major problem since installing Gym Sitemaps MOD

Hi Can someone help please? Since installing the GYM Sitemaps MOD, I am now getting images appearing in my forum index saying that a forum has no new posts. At least I think it's an image. Right clicking over the words "No new posts" half gives the impression that it's an image, but one that can't b...

Re: A compatability problem in UCP

OK, much more tinkering, and I've found the answer...it was editing the value of:

'UCP_ARCADE' => 'phpBB Arcade',

to -

'UCP_ARCADE' => 'Arcade',

in /language/en/mods/info_ucp_arcade.php - of all places!

Still no idea on how to equalise the font sizes in IE and FF though :roll:

A compatability problem in UCP

I have a problem with the UCP, in that all the MODs that add a tab have filled up the space available. In Internet Explorer that's OK as they all fit, but in Firefox, for whatever reason, there is an "overspill" of one tab onto an ugly second line, as can be seen here - http://www.brummiesfans.com/i...

Re: A silly little nagging snag in the UCP layout

Thanks for the reply. I was actually continuing to play with the COLOURS.CSS file and came as far as changing: #cp-main .panel { background-color: #FFDD00; } To - #cp-main .panel { background-color: #FFDD00; border: 1px solid #d00000; } The problem with this is that the border line sits on top of th...

A silly little nagging snag in the UCP layout

Hi I've almost got there, but one last snag is holding me up. I want there to be a red (#d00000) border in the main body of the UCP. The corners are there, I just need the lines to join up between them, and I can't seem to fathom out how it's done. Can someone help please? Thanks Martin p.s. the pag...

Re: Which "h2" and "h3" does what??

Just had a thought, would this principle also apply to other css elements, such as standard links? As an example, what would it take to change the black "uk_martin" links in http://www.brummiesfans.com/main/downlo ... l&df_id=95 into turning yellow instead of red?

Thanks again.

Which "h2" and "h3" does what??

You can see here that my topic headings here - http://www.brummiesfans.com/main/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=295 are: h2= black font (that changes to bright red on hover) against a dark red background h3= black font (that changes to bright red on hover) against a dark gold/yellow background What I'd like is...

Changing font size

Hi Here's a strange one. How do I alter font sizes for specific MOD-created pages? What I have in mind are pages created by TH23-CMS MOD (thread for this MOD now locked) e.g. - http://www.brummiesfans.com/main/template.php?cms=article_5 It seems to have a font size somewhat smaller than the font on ...
