Re: Bots crawling hidden content

Only certain parts of the forum will be like this. However these certain parts of the forum will be hidden only temporary. So after some time when people click on the links, they'll be served all the content. However on Google's webmaster guidelines http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answe...

Bots crawling hidden content

If an area in the forum is only accessible to registered users or paid users and bots. It's not considered hidden content right? This would allow bots to crawl and see the content that registered users can only see, and then list these pages on the search engine. However on Google there is a way you...

Re: More advanced custom BBCode?

Why not ask the creator?

Although it would be easily done just take a look at the mod's files and find out where he put his css rules. Easily reverse engineered.

Re: Reward System

How to implement your query depends on specifically what you want to do.

Why don't you start here:
http://wiki.phpbb.com/dashboard.action
and here:
http://area51.phpbb.com/docs/code/

And take a look at the database and how it works.

Take a look at my signature. Just make a certain forum as the article forum and use html threads hack to display it out into an external php page. You can of course manipulate how it looks.

Re: [BETA] OurTube [YouTube/Uploaded Video Streaming]

I've got it working with comments. - Logged in users can post comments. - Admin or user who commented can edit / delete comment (and this is working as it should now, finally). - As I said before though, there's no admin panel to this, it's all hard coded. - It adds 1 new table to the database (to ...

There's nothing there I disagree with, thank you for enlightening me. I guess we started with different definitions of quality.
