This is it! I've think it was done at one point with utf8_encode, instead i had think it maybe, but looking in now ... it was not done. Awesome! Big thank to you ;)

sorry, my bad english ... i was meaning, for what i need to know, the above is the only one thing that phpBB check against ... there is also something else that phpBB check, as well explained on linked post.

As the simply question on title: on a remember me login, phpBB check only for session key and not against both phpbb session and session keys. Wrong?
