Re: [BETA] Advanced Quick Reply 0.3.0

I'm getting complaints from my members who use XP/IE7 that when they click on a smiley from the pop-up "more smileys" link it doesn't add the code to the quick reply box. Any ideas what's happening here? I may just have to remove the "more smileys option", as most people are on IE7

Can't hide bots

I went in to manage groups and then selected the "bots" group. The "display in legend" was already un-ticked so in theory they shouldn't be displayed in the legend, but they are.... is this a bug?

Re: Promote based on number of posts

This is not easily possible in phpBB3, but I have written the "Auto Groups" MOD which can allow this. (Before you install, a new version is expected in the next few days ;) ) Cheers, that'd be great...would be so useful for so many people I think... e.g. You cant post attachments or links...

Re: [BETA] Country Flags 0.9.0

I carefully followed the instructions and it works like a charm :D

Hope it survives the RC5 - Gold (or RC5 - RC6) upgrade!

Promote based on number of posts

I want to distinguish between a forum newbie and an old timer. Basically what I want is to give different prmissions to someone who has >100 posts. Is this possible, and if so how would I do it?

Thanks,

J

Affiliate links

I have a small forum which I want to fund by having some affiliate links in one of the forum sections. I see that PHPBB3 does not allow posting of html. What would be the best way of posting the links the affiliate company give me into a standard post?

Cheers,

Re: MAGIC_URL_LOCAL not detecting local url when it has www

Thanks -jm-, I found out what the issue was. I had set the http://www.mydomain.com correctly but I had not clicked the radio button above it to "force" the change... I did that and now it's working fine.

Thanks again!
