Re: phpbb3 integration in a html page

There is not much time until final release of phpbb3 comes out, but i think there won't be any difference between is that guide made on RC5 or final version, as code part used for integrating phpbb3 within a website content most probably won't change. Only maybe phpbb3 dev team could make it simpli...

Re: phpbb3 integration in a html page

That's an interesting point... I have a site with the search box/number of people online etc on the front page... I presume I'll have to re-do all this once version 3 comes out?

Re: Announcements to guests

Nice one guys... I just didn't want to be installing a mod without checking first.... saying that, I could just hack it into the template anyway.

Announcements to guests

I want to put an announcement above my forum telling people what to do if they haven't received their confirmation email. Obviously I dont want registered users to see this. Is there an easy (mod-free) way of doing this? It looks like there would be, but the amount of features in v3 is amazing/baffl...

Forum list colors

I have a forum I am trying to skin based on the prosilver theme. The problem is, I have set "bg1" and "bg2" in the colors.css and it's fine.. but on the forum list some of the forums seem to be set to a background of #eef5f9, which I found to be the following css: ul.forums { bac...

Upgrade from 2.0.22 > RC4 error

Hi, I have been trying to run an upgrade from my v2 board to RC4. I seem to be getting there, but finally came across this error: SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Column 'user_lang' cannot be null [1048] SQL INSERT INTO phpbb_users (username, username_clean, user_password, user_pass_convert, user_email, user_em...

Re: Date for final version of PHPBB3 ?

No idea what the french reply was, but I imagine you will get the same response others have... "it'll be ready when it's ready".... My guess is there WILL be an RC5, as by definition it is a "release candidate".... if it were ready for release it would've been renamed "gold&...

Re: Congrats on RC3 Release!

I appreicate the "it'll be ready when it's ready" thing... but at some point the powers that be must know there will be another RC. It would be nice to know if that is the case... i.e. they released RC4 yest.. if they have found bugs in that then that means there WILL be an RC5 rather than...
