Re: [3.1][3.2][ALPHA] Quick Title Edition 2.0.0

Great mod, but when I test it the force user to select title option doesn't work, the user can leave the drop down unselected and still post the topic.

Re: Unread posts icon

It's always been like that since 3.1. Both icons do the same thing but the larger icon is where the topic icons sit. Also the smaller icon is in the topic itself to give you a direct link to that specific post. Excellent, so removing it from the forumlist.php page will not lose the users any functi...

A large icon informs that there are new posts in this thread but opens the thread from the first post. The little one opens immediately on the first unread post.
are you sure? When I look on this forum I get the same url when I hover over both the icons.

Unread posts icon

Hi,

Is there a difference in behavior between the small unread posts icon to the left of the topic title and the large unread posts icon on the far left. I am looking to remove the small one but am not sure if there is some functionality that I would lose.

Re: Images Hijacked by Photobucket?

Great job with the scripts. Out of interest how much of a challenge would it be to trawl the database and replace the url's with the local ones? I'm just concerned about relying on a plugin working with future phpbb releases. I thought about writing a script to do a bulk upload of the files as atta...

Re: Image orientation in plupload, using EXIF

Awesome... I hate altering core files though, so it'd be good if it can become an option in the core product.

Re: Image orientation in plupload, using EXIF

Ah ok I will stop trying to refresh and clear cache then  lol, let me know how you get on :D Seems to be working so far I have tested it with a few images and all seem to show correctly then when removing the change they are rotated wrongly! I think this should be added as a bud IMO Just to be...

Thanks for that I will give it a try

Is this likely to work with images already uploaded?

In /phpbb/plupload/plupload.php (around line 269)

Code: Select all

'resize: {width: %d, height: %d, quality: 85},',

Re: Image orientation in plupload, using EXIF

I have also found that if you right click an image and open in new window/tab that the image is then rotated and shown as it should be! Yeah, the reason for that is when you open in new window the browser reads the EXIF data but when it's in a web page it ignores it. Tests are looking good so far, ...
