My thanks for the fix which made it work :) Now that I think, I'm sure that our host's connection was badly in-use for the Forum sending such large data so I'm surprised they didn't contact us about it.

[RESOLVED] Really slow autosending notification email

I have a Mod which autosends Admins/Mods an email when something happens with a thread, but it's really slow to happen, while other mails send the instant phpBB is done with it. I suppose this is the host's problem ? If it is and someone with experience in admining Debian-based Mail Server have some...

Re: Editing fast a large subforum's permissions

You might be able to do this the other way around: select Users’ forum permissions for the anonymous user, then select those forums you want, then select Read Only access for each of them. That's still the same slow way with 101% chance for the Panel to complain that the form wasn't usable, aka cor...

Editing fast a large subforum's permissions

Over the time I've created a somewhat large subforum and manually edited its areas to be in moderation queue, which however seems to be bad idea due to spambots. So, I'd want to make them read-only for guests again a faster way than manually editing them again , but even after reading KnowledgeBase/...

Re: A bug which destroyed everything

Well, now I feel stupid: the new area inside "PlusLINE ServerClan" had "-0" choice for a page-of-threads where the lost threads were.

Re: A bug which destroyed everything

What errors did you exactly get? What actions was you actually doing? What MODs you have installed? Whats your board url? I don't remember the exact error, but I do remember it saying something threadid == 6 which was repeated three times with different number. I had made one additional area and us...

A bug which destroyed everything

[ This isn't a bugreport ] I re-organized a bit of my Board's areas and moved a bunch of valuable threads to the new area. After hitting "YES" in "Confirm thread move", I received an error page saying something about it failing to set few variables. In the page's top right corner I saw "Goto index" ...

Re: Programming language syntax highlighting BBCodes ?

I used Google Translator to translate the thread which made it 95% perfect English :D but the edits don't work. Instead every font/text in every thread on my Forum becomes 3 times larger than normal and there is few lines of errors on top of the page just like mentioned in the thread you gave.

Programming language syntax highlighting BBCodes ?

Have anyone run into places where I could get BBCodes that enable phpBB3 to highlight programming language syntaxes ? Could make use of C, C#, C++, Visual Basic, Java, Python ...

Re: phpBB conversion to other coding language

You got me wrong. My idea in this is to make two separate programs, one for the puter which runs the discussion areas, one for other puters to access the areas.
