2.0.8a and the [img] tag

Back when I was on 2.0.4 I remember there was a problem with allowing users to use the img tag due to security reasons so I disabled it in the code. I just reinstalled with a clean 2.0.8a up from 2.0.4 and the img tag is now available to my users. Do I need to worry about this anymore or can I leave...

Hi, By defaullt mail gets sent "bcc" rarther than "to". It may be this differentiation that causes mail issues to some hosts. bcc is an undisclosed recipient of mail as he mail is going to lots of people on a bcc basis. Have a search for support posts on undisclosed receipients and bcc as the post ...

There has been a topic on changing the emailer code for this in the last couple of day if I remember.

A matter of changing the "bcc" somewhere in one of the files (emailer.php or smtp.php).

Hope this helps,

The "something else" to try would be "undisclosed-recipient" (no quotes) or a real email address. What if I don't want the users to receive emails with a to: of Undisclosed-recipient:;? How can I make it so that each user watching a topic receives an email with only their own email address as the t...

Nevermind. I went into admin cp and saw what you were talking about when you said script path. I changed it to my new directory name and the site works fine. The strange thing is I first looked in the phpbb_config table for this to change it there but it is not. Where is this value in the db? Thanks...

PHPbb moved to new directory issue

Rather than upgrading via patch my 2.0.4 install to 2.0.8a I did a fresh install of 2.0.8a in a new directory as I had modified a lot of the css in the tpl files and wanted to get back to virgin code and test and make the .css file all nice and pretty without disrupting my old in use install. I tran...

go here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/phpbb/ Once you are logged in (you need a sourceforge.net user ID), scroll down to "latest releases" and click on "monitor" and you will be notified by email. However, I'd still recommend to check the Announcements forum regularly. Thanks I'm now on the mai...
