none of the forums must share. They all belong to different users who are not aware of one another. Assume the following: I have user A with a web hosting account for himself. I have user B with a web hosting account for himself. I have a user C (which acts as an administrator) with an account for ...

For the millionth time, it needs to be EasyMod compatible! A .txt file so we can just load it into EasyMod... :x :x Make it then. It shouldn't be that hard since the code is already written out for you. Actually the code is all mixed in with html and will cut and past me into tomorrow. At least it'...

Thanks for the reply.

My mods were done by me and are layout mods not prebuilt functionality mods so reinstalling means me going through each changed page by hand. If nobody has info on how to get the patch to run then I will use acyd burn's step by step to manually upgade my install. *sigh*

Help please phpBB-2.0.4_to_2.0.6.patch

I'm in a shared hosting enviro on a linux box with SSH access. My phpbb install is in a directory that's called forums at the root level of my public web space. Some people just don't care

It sucks when you run accross a cool phpbb board and realize that they pulled all the phpbb copyright info from the footer and the code.

How about this. Twice a year the admin would need to go in and change what is commented out. Not the best but it works :) // // Timezones ... for display on each page // $lang['All_times'] = 'All times are %s'; // eg. All times are GMT - 12 Hours (times from next block) $lang['-12'] = '(GMT -12 Hrs)...

Maybe people that live in Arizona are smarter 8O

I think that phpbb doesn't have code to handle daylight savings time.......yet.

At least with the city names people who have no clue what GMT stands for (most people) can pick their zone.

It goes in the lang_main.php file in your language directory. It's near the bottom so scroll down.

My suggestion would be something like GMT +# (city name). Want the list? How about windows? :P Thanks for responding :) I already found something: // Timezones ... for display on each page // $lang['All_times'] = 'All times are %s'; // eg. All times are GMT - 12 Hours (times from next block) $lang[...
