Re: Place the style within a box on my website

I suppose all you need to do is create a forum first of all using PHPBB download.
Then you apply the style you downloaded to the PHPBB forum.

Then to get the forum inside your box I spose you could simply place it into a frame.

Thats the simplest way I can think of at the moment.

Re: html cuts off at last 100 sum px...?

ah tyvm .. that is a good explaination. :D

however it does make one wonder why prosilver adds anything to the HTML tag to begin with.
I've always ignored the HTML tag all together.

Re: How to remove rounded edges?

you could remove the corners class code from the template files but its not needed. The css code effectively does that through the use of CSS rather then physically changing the file. The result is the same. There are two css definitions. The first hides the element from view. The second basically r...

Re: topic height in IE6

well the admin should be updating them.. theres no reason why a school should be using an outdated browser ..especially when the updates are free. In fact its a security risk for a school to be using outdated software in first place. IMO.. :mrgreen: that said you could always run a browser detection...

Re: How to remove rounded edges?

the above code will hide ALL of the corners however.. If you are just wanting to target specific ones you will need to add bit more CSS to this in order to break it down to your specific element. This css perhaps: /* Hide corners */ .panel .corners-top, .panel .corners-bottom { visibility:hidden; di...

Re: How to remove rounded edges?

You can remove the sections of code with the corners class in the template file.
Or you can target the classes with CSS and hide them.

I use this and I haven't seen a problem with it yet..

Code: Select all

/* Hide corners */
.corners-top, .corners-bottom {
	visibility:hidden;
	display:none;
}

html cuts off at last 100 sum px...?

Hello all, I've come across a weird issue. My HTML seems to cut off at the bottom. But only on one exact page section. On my test forum.. which is updated to the lastest version of PHPBB (3.0.5). I'm updating a style. Now what i've done is copied the prosilver(that came with 3.0.5) and simply create...

Re: stop the spam..help!

my fault.. i did not even see that post.. So basically my only option is to mod the board myself? I spose I could do that. I'm thinking the best way is mod the registration page. I noticed that changing around the HTML setup doesn't work. Is there a reason for this? How do the bots submit there info...
