Re: [DEV] TinyMCE integration

Hi Garak,

just found your MOD. Very nice one. I'll try to install it and then report bugs, when I find them.

How about custom BBCode? That would have to be implemented manually?

Re: [BETA] AJAX Registration Checks 0.1.2

No it does not.

But you can achieve this by removing the JS code from the email and password fields in the template.

Re: [BETA] AJAX Registration Checks 0.1.2

The idea of the mod is quiet good, unfortunately the code isn't. There are still bugs in it and there is also some "room for improvement". ;) I've done some recoding of this Mod so my version now actually does check the length of username and password as well as the availability. The JS in the templ...

Re: Trouble During Install

You can't rename the file, it won't work if it has a different name. But what you can try is to upload it with a different name and then rename it online back to .htaccess However, the content is pretty simple: <Files "config.php"> Order Allow,Deny Deny from All </Files> <Files "common.php"> Order A...

Re: editing registration agreement

It is possible to add a checkbox. Sure. But it requires some amount of coding. Open includes/ucp/ucp_register.php Find: // Check and initialize some variables if needed if ($submit) { $error = validate_data($data, array( This is where the valiadtion functions are called and where you might start. Th...

There seem to be problems with your DB connection. But since you cut the screenshot at the error message, there is no way for me to guess any further...

Check your MySql server. This does not look like a phpBB error.

Re: Login Redirect

There is a MOD for "Instant Post Redirect". Maybe you can apply this one for your needs too.

Re: [BETA] Phoogle (Google) Map

I'm not sure how the friend/foe thing is handled within phpBB - there may be specific functions written that could easily be used for Phoogle's purposes like you described. I just don't know. :D Might be worth looking into that. If I have some time I might do that. ;) As for the Google marker manag...

Re: Looking for Escape Character in Templates

Code: Select all

var icons = {};
I use this to initialize an array for the icons. Basicly it contains the file names for the icons in use. A function gets the appropriate icon from that array later. So it's not an object.

Re: [BETA] Phoogle (Google) Map

Hi! Would it be possible to extend the "Show me on the map: No / Yes" setting to "Show me on the map: No / Friends only / All"? Yes it would be possible, but not easily, and I think it could slow down the script pretty badly. The sql query that gathers the users to display (when someone views the m...

Re: Looking for Escape Character in Templates

This doesn't work, because then the source code of the site reads:

Code: Select all

var icons = {#&125;;
but it needs to be:

Code: Select all

var icons = {};
{ and #&125; would only work for text I wana display. But it's not a text problem. :roll:
