I've submitted version 2.0.0 and as such I'm not providing any support for this version anymore (although my support has been on the weaker side due to lack of time). I've confirmed 2.0.0 to work with 2.0.22; atleast it worked all the time during my own tests. At the moment I'm not planning an upgra...

Very late answer to the question, but I think you can apply that code directly as-is into viewtopic_body.tpl once you have quick reply installed. Although... you should also take a look into what modifications are done into posting.php so you can add those into viewtopic.php. On the other news... Th...

Multiple domain and same autologin on each

Hopefully posting to the right forum... (afaik the support forum bans anything MOD related... and I merely just need information and this might pop up some discussion on using phpBB for site login in general) I've been trying to integrate phpBB login to my site. The problem is that my phpBB is runni...

Scene Group, a Finnish host. Their support mail is mikko[dot]kivinen[at]scenegroup[dot]fi if you want to ask directly for the details.

Tables keep disappearing randomly

This problem started about two months ago after the latest MySQL 5 update: database tables disappear randomly. This doesn't happen all the time, just very randomly. Today four tables disappeared, one of them being the users table. The server is running the latest PHP 5 and MySQL 5 as far as I know; ...

Nah, I wondered if there is a premade one only because that would mean I don't have to make it  Now I might code it, although probably only for my own use. Doesn't seem like a very common thing to do afterall.

Loading external avatars

Just wondering if there is an external avatar uploader script? I've decided not to support external avatars anymore so I want to grab the current external avatars to the server as users are too slow to do it anyway within a reasonable time limit.

Hmm, this looks more like if applying language variables has failed. Check your language files ( language/lang_english/lang_main.php ), around the bottom should be a few quick reply additions. There also might be a problem with the PHP code that was added into viewtopic.php - although there might be...

You don't have any of the Simple Quick Reply code in the template, so you need to check the MOD file to see what it adds in and then apply those things into the template.

(I can't remember where the MOD was in my machine...)

Could you edit the post and add
and
tags around the code?

You probably don't have the buttons within a form field. If this doesn't help you to resolve the problem, show the template code.

You have to manually edit the template. It shouldn't be too hard, just take a look into the form fields the MOD file adds in. EasyMOD should install it without major warnings as long as you have subSilver; if you don't have it, then you probably get some kind of error and need to simplify the MOD fi...

Yeah, you don't need to replace the old one if you're happy with it. The new one has improved installation (= easier), optional additional features and a bit better looking design. And in the end it is up to the users to decide if they want a new version or not. So I can make a new version and push ...

The template code was so different that I wasn't sure if the end result is like with subSilver or if it is different. It is slightly different. Anyways, here is updated MOD code for this case: # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------ # <table width="100%" cellspacing="2" border="0"...

Link to actual page might help to analyze where to put the code. Although the second version of SQR might work better in your case as code is not added into the middle of a table, but into a new separate table, thus making positioning of the quick reply box easier. Of course the release is not final...
