Re: Moderators

Add him/er into the Moderator group on your forum, then set there permissions to the permissions
you wish them to have then your done. But make sure that it is their default group.

You can tell if it is default group because if your moderator group colour is say green, their username will be green.

Re: Filebase Problems

You need to ask this question in the MOD topic where you got this MOD from.

But there seems to be a problem with modifying your header in includes/functions.php

Have a look at that file on line 3825, 3827, 3828 and 3829.

Re: Users cannot delete own pm's

Well do you have a backup of your forum and database? If you can just restore and that should work.

Also, what actually happens? What do you mean they can't delete them, Do you mean the button
shows up or when they click to delete it comes up with an error?

Re: "Access to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed"

All you have to do is transfer your backed up files onto for FTP forum root, make sure if you forums root is '/forum/' then change the back up name to '/backup/' or something then once it has finished uploading then change the forums name from'/forum/' to '/forum-01/' and then change the backup to '...

Re: Email issue

All you have to do is change the text in the files that are located in: phpbb/language/en/email/.

Just edit the text and then upload again.

Hope that helps :)

Re: "Access to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed"

There is something wrong somewhere then if that doesn't work.

What changes did you do just before this happened? And also, do you have a Backup of your forum?

Re: "Access to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed"

Thanks to Mixstar who gave me the SQL in a PM ;) Run this into SQL and it will create an account name 'admin1' with a password of 'admin'. Make sure you change the table prefix from phpbb_ to your own prefix if it isn't phpbb_. INSERT INTO phpbb_users (user_type, group_id, username, username_clean, ...

Re: "Access to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed"

Right well I have seen a SQL that you can put in so it will make a new admin account with every permission. I will go look for it, but as of now, if you have not cleared anything in your browser then go to the following link when you are logged in, in your admin account: http://www.bloodlust-uk.com/...

Re: Users cannot delete own pm's

You said you don't have any MODs, so it isn't a MOD problem. I suggest that you take a look at your permissions. Go to the ACP (Admin Control Panel) and then go to the Users and Groups tab and then click the 'Groups' Permissions' link down the side and then select the group and then choose their per...

Re: Receiving a PM

All you have to do is go to this file: phpbb/styles/your-style/templates/overall_header.html The FIND: (<a href="{U_PRIVATEMSGS}">{PRIVATE_MESSAGE_INFO}</a>) Then add you colour tags between that peice of code, save it, and upload it, then refresh it :) That could get kinda catchy  Save it, Upl...
