Re: How can I make my portal stay one style while my forum can

In your portal PHP file find the session part
something like

Code: Select all

$user->setup('viewforum');
change to

Code: Select all

$user->setup('viewforum', 3);
where the viewforum in this example is the language file and 3 is the style ID

Re: Anyone seen a style to match this?

No, but you can take a look around at the demo sites
http://www.phpbbhacks.com/stylesdemo/
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/

or make one to match ;)

Re: phpbb 3.0.5 style problem

What size monitor is this on?

And when you change the size in the #wrap make sure you refresh the theme in the ACP under the styles tab.
Then clear your browser cache.

Re: Permissions Question

This would only be accomplished through a mod, or making a mod to do it.
It really isn't related to the style itself.

Re: How to make repeating background?

I assume it is added in your colours.css FIND body { background: #5f5e5e url("./styles/1thank/theme/images/body-bg.gif") 0 0 repeat-x; padding: 30px 0 0 0; margin: 0; } Change to body { background: #5f5e5e url("./styles/1thank/theme/images/body-bg.gif") 0 0 repeat; padding: 30px 0 0 0; margin: 0; }

Re: Hide A Forum

The <!-- ENDIF --> needs to be right before
<!-- BEGINELSE -->

not <!-- END forumrow -->

Where is is now, the
<!-- BEGINELSE --> is not allowing it to end, creating an error.

Re: Having Toubles Changing "Mouseover" Colors

If I am correct in what you are referring to, you need to find and edit

Code: Select all

li.row:hover {
    background-color: #F6F4D0;
}
or whatever color it is in that style.
This should be in the colours.css file.

Re: Color problem

You need to edit the

Code: Select all

.forumbg {
background:#EBEBEB none repeat-x scroll 0 0;
most likely in the colours.css or common.css if it was removed from colours.css
color #EBEBEB is what you are seeing now.

Re: Add Sidebar to Prosilver Easily

This is from one of my styles, but it should get you on the right track. OPEN prosilver/theme/common.css FIND #wrap { padding: 0 20px; min-width: 650px; } REPLACE WITH #wrap { background-color: #fff; margin: 0px auto; width: 95%; padding: 20px; min-width: 800px; border: 1px solid #0f9ce2; } AFTER AD...

You need to refresh the themes in the ACP,
ACP -> Styles Tab -> Themes Link on the left -> Your style Refresh

Go to advanced search
