Cannot view posted images when browsing as guest.

Hello - I'm at a total loss and need help. Both myself and the other admin have spent a day or so each re-googling and FAQ-ing ourselves into oblivion trying to work out where we're going wrong with permissions as to why logged out visitors can't see images in posted. We have been over and over the ...

Re: What RSS / atom feed does this board use?

OK, I'm going to ask a moderator - maybe they'll know! EDIT: It's not good news, I'm afraid. An RSS mod is a fairly basic feature of most boards, but not phpbb. In fact, the answer given on IRC was that the phpbb RSS feed as used on this board is a custom built mod and will not be released. Such a s...

What RSS / atom feed does this board use?

I didn't want to feel thick or be a newbie, so I have spent 4 hours struggling to get the RSS feed working, but it just crashes and hangs and kills the database . So, how have they got it working OK in this actual board? I notice the RSS icon is a different feed, too. I would REALLY appreciate knowi...

Re: [Beta]Advanced RSS Feed

HI, whatever feed result I choose, it always times out after a couple of minutes and says: SQL ERROR [ mysqli ] Server shutdown in progress [1053] SQL SELECT distinct(p.topic_id) , p.forum_id, p.post_time, p.post_subject, p.post_text, p.bbcode_bitfield, p.bbcode_uid, u.user_id, u.user_email, u.usern...

Re: (Hopefully) Minor Issue with Avatars after upgrade

I upgraded from 2.x to 3 and the only problem I have is with avatars. In the original install, the avatars lived in /images/avatars/ and there were 19 files, all with names like 103848183647569e59dc242.jpg but I now see that it is linking to files like <a href="./memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=33...

Re: Upgrading fr. v 2.2.24a to 3.01--Help!

Hello! I managed to solve the above problem for Richard - although during update, it said it had skipped pretty much every post - and yet, they were all there, only a few users missing. However, the only problem I have is with avatars. In the original install, the avatars lived in /images/avatars/ a...

subsilver css help needed-links and search results invisib

Hi, I'm trying to help out on a voluntary community called "Librivox", however, there's a problem with the phpbb forum - someone installed it, then went away, and none of us are really techy enough, so I said I'd post the problem here! Subsilver has been installed, and there is no other choice for t...
