Crap.

All i can say is, its late and i know i messed up. I went to update to the latest version and forgot to backup and overwrote using the wrong files (full install instead of update). Is there anyway to save the install without having a back up? Files are stored/served locally, not on a remote server.

Re: Edit styles

I want to add a banner link back to the main site, but with 3.2 there is no easy way to do it like there used to be on 3.0 and prior.

Edit styles

How do you do it in 3.2? I can see no logical way to do it. I searched and everything was about editing the existing files (images etc) but i need to ADD data to it, not edit whats currently there, and none of the results were for 3.2.

Re: Restore problem - resolved

Fixed...outlining the process for documentation. Main reason i had this problem, the OS is on one disk, the websites on another that did not get formatted. So, the db's remained while SQL was reinstalled, but no way to control it. Localhost access is not set up by default after Win 7, you need to sp...

Restore problem

Im having an odd issue restoring a backup. I had to reinstall Windows and made a backup prior to this (the server is onsite, not remote). I stored the file locally and nothing happened to the file. Its 464kb packed and if you open it with WinRAR, it shows 1,940,707 bytes, so less than 2mb. In Window...

Just like moving to a new server, but not...

Im taking over the ownership of a domain ive been admin of for a few years. The current owner deleted the server (account/container) before notifying anyone, but left a copy of all the files on the root drive of the host server. As such i was able to get a copy of everything after talking to tech su...

Re: Search down?

So i need a way to find mods that allow cross posting to FB, Twitter and IG or something that will post feeds from those media o...

Re: Your post have been submitted...

Im sorry, but if it were that easy, i would not have needed to ask where. Its an edit on one of the php files. Ive looked in posting.php and couldnt find it there.
