Problem with phpbb3 and Coppermine?

Hi all

Can somebody tell me exactly why it is not possible to integrate a Coppermine gallery into a phpbb3 forum, and if there are any other photo galleries that will work that have batch upload capabilities?

Thank you in advance

Re: WordPress?

You're the customer. If you are paying you should be able to get what you want. My advice, shop around a bit more before locking yourself into a long term solution you don't like. ;) Any hints on where I should start shopping for a solution I might like? Or terms I should put into Google, even? :? ...

Re: WordPress?

Ideally we would want to take the forums to the main site, but SiteMaker, with whom we constructed the site, are flatly refusing to let us do this so we've got to do it the other way round. I would start by finding out why you can't install phpBB on your main site. Perhaps there is a legitimate rea...

Re: WordPress?

I'm sorry  - I did check first but I couldn't see a better place to put it

I can't believe WordPress is the best option either but I just don't know enough about it to know where and how to look for alternatives

WordPress?

We currently have an awkward set up whereby our main site is separate from the forums, requiring two separate log ins and different domains and we want to bring it all under one roof. Ideally we would want to take the forums to the main site, but SiteMaker, with whom we constructed the site, are fla...

Re: Scrolling problems with long posts in IE

It's still happening to me, too. I don't even bother trying with IE now, I just go straight to Firefox.

It's a major pain though

Scrolling problems with long posts in IE

Ever since we upgraded from version 2 to 3, posting and editing long posts has become a nightmare. When a post reaches a certain length, if you take your cursor out of the text input box, the post jumps right back up to the beginning, as if it's spring loaded. The only foolproof way to get the curso...

Re: Upgrade Problemo

Well, less than 24 hours and I am back already  but with a stinking headache so I am only using words of one syllable, please bear with me

I did some investigating and the author has already updated the style so what do I need to do now?

Re: Upgrade Problemo

That's why I love coming here, thank you so much. :) I didn't think it could be that complicated - my colleague is much more tech savvy than me with the hands on stuff though And just to prove that point - what exactly do you mean by "point your browser at the files"? And Steve, it's Rainbow ...

Re: Upgrade Problemo

Soooo...if the only mods we have are the YouTube and centering text ones..... Sorry to be a noob, but our tech support are telling us that it will take about 2 hours because we aren't using a default theme - we are actually using a default theme, but we colourised it - would they have to work round ...
