Re: [BETA] Highway Referral Invitation MOD - 0.1.0c

Highway of Life, I know most mods under development should not be used live, but I am in need of a feature like this to spark interest on my forum. Is there anything that needs to be working before you would say it can be used live? or is this release stable enough? I'm not going to hold you liable ...

Database sizes differ after backup/restore?

Hi folks, I have a small question... I have a Windows IIS 6 server with MySQL 5.0.54-log that has my database files at 6.77 MB. I am testing my Linux learning capabilities using an at home CentOS 5.1 server with MySQL 5.0.22 The database size is 257.98 KB Now my question is, where is the size differ...

Re: Genders

pumpkinkid- are you the one who makes this MOD, in which case I should just take the answer as "no" or should I continue to check this thread waiting for a response to the question, "Is it possible to add more options, and if so, how?" I am not the one that makes this mod, by all means keep waiting...

Re: Genders

Did not mean to be offensive... I too cater to a forum for young audiences, mine goes from 12 to w/e, and like you said I too do not know anyone that would use the other, (at least I don't think) but like I said "political correctness is most often incorrect" you open yourself up to more complaints ...

Re: IP-address in topic for phpBB3

The other reason is that you would like to see what ip address was used to post the particular entry, not the last ip address that the user used....

Re: Genders

Um political correctness is most often incorrect... there should not be and there isn't any reason for there to be an "other" gender... God, Allah, Darwin, Yoda, Lay-Z-Boy... whoever you believe in gave you a set of organs... what type of organs are they? Male or Female... there is no other... Secon...

Re: Genders

Can there be an easy way to hide the Gender field all together if they have not specified?

Also I would like to show it on the registration page... not make it required.. just show giving all 3 options

Re: Instant Post Redirect

I remember posting that somewhere too. It replaces all meta redirects with instant ones. It definateley breaks some of the anchors for ie though, which probably was one of the reason why they added the screen in the first place (and having a link back to the forum may be good for some people ;)) I ...

Re: Instant Post Redirect

Uh.... i'm using

Code: Select all

/**
* Meta refresh assignment
*/
function meta_refresh($time, $url)
{
   global $template;

   $url = redirect($url, false);
and that works wonderfully for me all over the place.... on both IE and firefox...

hide the "Reset board’s start date" option?

Is there a way to hide the "Reset board’s start date" option on the main index for the acp? I would rather have to unhide it in order to use it rather than having it so easily accessible.

Re: Instant Post Redirect

What reason would there be to use a newer version vs the "global" instant redirect that already works perfectly?
