Is it difficult to do?

Evening all (well it is here in the UK :) ) I did try a search before posting, but didn't find a satisfactory answer. Is it possible to convert a phpBB2 template into a phpBB3 one? I had a forum running on phpBB2, and I really liked the template, but now I cannot use it on my new board. If there is ...

Playing with something I shouldn't

Hello all. I have been messing around with the CSS, changing the style and colours. I have everything pretty much how I want it now, but I seem to be getting this thick black line after every post. Is there a way I can fix this? Thanks in advance. :) PS, The template is Sub Silver2 http://img198.ima...

Re: Single forum password?

Thank you for your help. The reason I want the option is because of a project I am working on. The forum will only be accessible to a set number of members, each one will be emailed the password to the forum, so we know exactly how many members we have who are entitled to see the forum. The password...

Single forum password?

Hello again,

I am sorry if this has been covered, I did try a search.
Is it possible to have a forum that is password protected? Say your forum has several sub forums, is it possible to make just one of those forums password protected?

Thanks in advance. :)

Re: The main header in Subsilver2

Thanks again Raimon, what you suggested hasn't cured the problem, but looking at the board as it stands, it doesn't look too bad!
Thanks for your time....

Re: The main header in Subsilver2

Sorry to bump this one up, but the site is almost ready to go live, and I need to sort this if possible.
Thanks :)

Re: The main header in Subsilver2

Hello again. The steps that Raimon showed me worked very well, but I have come across a problem. After viewing my site on a PC that has a much larger screen than my PC, the header image doesn't stretch right across the top of the forum. The image I used for the header is 998x100, and it looks fine o...

The main header in Subsilver2

Hi all.
Is there a way to make the header in subsilver 2 a clickable image like the one on phpbb's support forum?
What are the exact dimensions of the header in subsilver 2?
Thanks in advance :D

Re: How can i add Adsence in the sidebar?

This isn't working for me.
I added the adsense code under the line

Code: Select all

<div style="float: left; width: 85%; height: 100%;">
But the ads end up on top of the forum instead of in the sidebar?
Any ideas?

Re: How to Add a Sidebar in prosilver Tutorial

Is there a way to insert the side bar by editing forumlist_body.html, and viewforum_body.html?
Where abouts would I insert the line of code?
I am using the subsilver2 template, and it doesn't look quite right when done in the tutorial.

Re: How to Add a Sidebar in prosilver Tutorial

ADDS A SIDEBAR TO THE RIGHT ONLY I think you would add this code to the overall_header.html instead of the other code... <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="10" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td align="left"> and in the overall_footer.html you would put this </td> <td width="200" align="right" vali...
