Re: styles

Make sure it is a phpBB3 theme first of all. Also make sure that the directory you uploaded to the styles directory is not inside another directory as sometimes happens whhen unpackaging the zip / rar i.e. styles > stylename > stylename > *style Contents* should just be styles > stylename > *style c...

Re: How to add explanation text on the registration form?

Open the ucp_register.html in the template folder of your style. Find <tr> <td class="row1"><b class="genmed">{L_EMAIL_ADDRESS}: </b></td> <td class="row2"><input class="post" type="text" name="email" size="25" maxlength="100" value="{EMAIL}" /></td> </tr> Replace with <tr> <td class="row1"><b class...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.6 (alightner/spacedog)

The changes are in the core not the UI - but your link doesn't show any calendar events, and you're using the week display on index (not upcoming event list) - not sure how you're testing this... Try creating a new all day calendar event to begin the test. I believe the early versions of this mod s...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.6 (alightner/spacedog)

Can you still duplicate the new problem you mention in 0.0.6 - because that sounds like something that was fixed in one of the previous releases? You might find your issue has been fixed now, since you said this was your first update since 0.0.1. Running the 0.0.6 calendar just now and the upcoming...

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.6 (alightner/spacedog)

OK - I'll see if I can duplicate it. I have duplicated it... I will have a fix in the next release... although I don't have the fix at the moment because it seems I have a few other more pressing bugs with timezones & DST ;) Is this related to my question .... On the upcoming events display on the ...

Re: few style changes.

Open common.css in the theme directory. Find .headerbar { background: #ebebeb none repeat-x 0 0; color: #FFFFFF; margin-bottom: 4px; padding: 0 5px; } Replace with .headerbar { background: #ebebeb none repeat-x 0 0; color: #FFFFFF; margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0 5px; } Will need to refresh the theme...

Re: Has anybody seen a horizontal "postbit" for phpbb 3???

Im guessing you want the post details to show above the post rather than to the left or right of it.

Ive seen it done on a phpBB3 board using modded Prosilver.

Re: few style changes.

Delete the two lines from the overall_header.html page <div id="wrap"> <div id="page-header"> Dont delete the <a id="top" name="top" accesskey="t"></a> line that is between them. Find in the same page <a name="start_here"></a> Before that add <div id="wrap"> <div id="page-header"> Remember your refr...

Re: few style changes.

Ok I just did a dry run on my local board and got the header bar and nav bar to stretch to full width but everything after that was at the normal 90% odd width.

Is that right?

Re: How to Change Text

Search the language file (common.php) for USERNAME If you only want to change it on the registration page you could just edit the file itself. Find the ucp_register.html n the tempaltes folder of your style. Search for {L_USERNAME}: And change it to Real name: without the { } You would then need to ...
