I don't know what caused it, that's the problem. So you're saying check over usercp_register.php? Is there any other files, because I'm sure I tried that. It can't be the SQL problem, since Admins can change user titles.. The other possibility is profile_add_body.tpl. If you can't find the problem,...

I still cannot get it so that users can change their user titles. It resets back whenever they press Submit. It was working before. =\ What was it that caused the breakage? It sounds like a line or section of code is missing somewhere in usercp_register.php. I'd go over the changes to that file and...

Thankyou for the reply. Ran the querry and everything is fine on the database end. Problem now is I am using redsilver template and it does not work for this template. For some reason I installed this mod twice by accident. Now I have two blocks on my admin Config panel for Custom Title sett...

Just wanted to let you know I installed it through EasyMOD and it did not perform the database changes. If I could give a small piece of advice, include the SQL queries for the modifications in the readme so that they can be run "as is". Otherwise, why use EasyMOD and then have to run the title_ins...

I've confirmed that there's an incompatible change in phpBB 2.0.20 that will prevent installation from going as smoothly as we'd like. This, along with the outstanding template problem means it's time for the first release in over 3 years. I'd say that's a good amount of time without bugs. This mean...

Some notes to everyone: I first generated the MOD instructions from one of the first 2.0 releases, perhaps even 2.0.0, though the latest one may have been derived from 2.0.4. This means that the EasyMOD script may be somewhat outdated; I don't know how many search lines have changed. If I have time,...

When I installed this mod, I get an error in the admincp. That frame on the left has an error in it. It says - Based on my quick glance at your file, you're missing a brace after the following lines: case CUSTOM_TITLE_MODE_REPLACE_BOTH: $custom_title_mode_replace_both = "checked=\"checked\""; break...

What would be in the viewtopic_body.tpl file? The error link I get? Will this cause the mod to behave correctly if I fix whatever may be in this file? I have no clue...I'm sorry. Will this fix the problem that the users title does not appear in posts? Depending on what the problem actually is, and ...

If you're at all adept at PHP, it should be fairly trivial to remove the limit check in admin_users.php I looked through admin_users.php and everything relating to/surrounding the custom_title thing, but couldn't find where/how to remove the limit check. (I'm not all that adept at PHP, I'm afraid -...

Wondering if anybody has figured this one out yet? I know by default you can't click on the users name in a post anyway, but I have the option now since installing this mod and get the strange code above. It doesn't take you anywhere, but thats what the link is. Or, how can I get this mod uninstall...

It looks like you just ran it twice. Everything might be okay now. If you're still having errors, then we'll probably have to look at the code, too.

Upload it to the same place where phpBB's viewtopic.php is. I presume you've already done this. Then, for instance, if your forums are at http://www.yoursite.com/forums/, then you need to go to http://www.yoursite.com/forums/title_install.php
