when uploading mods do you upload the new mod to one folder or do you upload the contents to different folders to make everything work. I have the welcome mod that I want to install but cant get it to work. can anyone help me out on this matter?

With this mod do I just upload everything to one folder or do I need to put the contents of the folder to different folders on my server. please explain on how to install because this is all new to me
