Interesting you say this. How can a user multiple insert? Once the user has answered the survey, the next time he goes to the topic he no longer has an option to 'Fill in Survey' but instead only has an option to 'Change your answers' .... I addressed that by adding some javascript code in the temp...

Hey Alan, Amazing bit of work you'd done here! Installed with a little bit more effort than I'd hoped for (mainly due to changes on my end) but went smooth enough. Not sure I would agree with the 'Installation Level: Easy', but, oh'well. A few things I noticed: Probably my biggest "yuck" i...

Seems to work like it should. My three suggestions: Stop using the ENTIRE LINE for your "FIND" statements... you only need a small fraction of the line, not the entire line, when doing a FIND-INLINE. Some of us have other MOD's installed and when MOD Authors do a FIND on the entire line, i...

Hey, I came across a php class today that might help someone (not me) who is interested in trying this whole online duration thing.

You can download the code from this link and find the class listed at this link.

Maybe it'll work...

Hi Shannon, I think this was once accomplish by a guy by the name of Niels. (one of the best MOD authors in the world, AFAIC) Of the very few methods I've ever seen accomplished I'd say he's was the best of them. However, he once said that even his version wasn't a "good" way to handle it,...

[DELETE-ME] Select Form On Posting Page

Hello. I'm after a quick MOD to allow the person submitting a new post to be able to have a <select> box with all the forums (permission based, of course) within the "Post a new topic" page. I had thought of hacking up the make_jumpbox() function, but it turned into more work than I could ...

Hmm, you could add an IF statement to the code to check for a new value you'd pass.... IF the value isn't passed you could not display the "submit" button. Once the value get's passed (via the first form submission) the "submit" button would than be shown. Not pretty, but the fir...

...was that the posts were connected, and that your "leacher" comment was directed at folks that are not willing to pay. If you had something else in mind then I missed it. drathbun, yeah, I was changing the course of my topic. (not that this thread is my topic... I'm just trying to bring...

This, of course, is my opinion, but the fact that people are not paying for mods (yours or anyone elses) is not a phpBB "community" issue. No where in my message above, drathbun, did I mention "money" or "paying for mod". In my post on the previous page, yes, in the ab...

Oh and as for those who feel the need to share your code with all and sundry... believe it or not.. in 2 years I've seen very little evidence of anyone wanting to pirate the code... Part of this is down to a polite request not to and I think, the loyalty of most of my users.. We have an understandi...

If you want to make money for your work? Spend tons of time on your projects as if they were real products, offer full support, then put up paypal and let donations comes in. If no ones willing to donate, I don't think your products good enough to sell then. Suffice to say... that hasn't worked for...
