Re: [BETA] Upcoming Birthday list

I think I found it

Find:

Code: Select all

date('d M', $user_birthday)
replace with

Code: Select all

$user->format_date($user_birthday, 'D, j. M')
or other custom date-format instead of ''D, j. M". Also thanks to "A_Jelly_Doughnut" for his support.

Re: Localized Date-Format?

Thanks, now I'm a step further. Though my main-problem still exists: With '$user->format_date()' the date-output is formatted with the user-settings. But my problem is the other way around: I have a defined date-format with english output, e.g. date('l j. F Y') and I want to translate this output in...

Re: [BETA] Upcoming Birthday list

inline find title="' . date('d M', $user_birthday) . '" thats the one you need to change if you want to change the date format Thanks for your fast reply! And yes, I already found this line - but how (with which code) do I have to change it for getting a localized date-Output. E.g. englis...

Re: [BETA] Upcoming Birthday list

I'd like to change the "hover" Birth-Date (mouse over username) to a localized date-format , but I don't have any clue how to do this. Please, can you tell me how to change the date-command to a "$user->lang"-format? :?: http://www.lefty74.com/temp/screenshot_upc_birthday.jpg

[SOLVED] Localized Date-Format? :-)

Hi everybody, as beeing not a mod-writer at all, I have a very simple question ;) How the f#!k it is possible to convert the output of the ' date '-command in a defined language (in my case German) via the $users->lang thing array? E.g. "Monday" to "Montag", or "Today" ...

255 characters should be plenty....
but i'll extend it out to 1024!
255 chars aren't enough, especially when you add more extended BBCode like formatted URLs or other Links to graphics, topics etc. - so thanks for the 1024, this will be fine :D

Re: Welcome PM on First Login

First of all: Nice Mod! Thanks for the release! :D For the next Update-Version it would be nice if this Mod gets an own table in the database instead of inserting data in the "phpbb_config"-table, mainly because of the standart-limit of the varchar(255)-fields, that forbids the usage of mo...

got the same problem when messages have been sent to groups instead of single users! Maybe that's the bug-problem?!
