Re: Two login problems - cookies persist, https redirects to http

If I'm reading this properly adding the redirect to .htaccess will redirect anyone coming in on HTTP to HTTPS so you would be SSL all the way. No, I have explicitly said that I don't want to force https: 1a. I don't want to force HTTPS (just yet). I want to give users a choice. And they have a choi...

Re: Two login problems - cookies persist, https redirects to http

Thanks, Mick! I did the search, and I saw that thread as well. But if I understand correctly, I have slightly different situation: 1a. I don't want to force HTTPS (just yet). I want to have both options for now. If I will set the cookie secure, as you suggest, cookies will stop working for http (at ...

Responsive navbar problems

Hey I'm trying to "improve" navbar links behavior, and, being just an average backend programmer with little frontend experience, I fail miserably. I would appreciate help. My forums are located at fighting.ru/forums. I have some navbar-related exts installed (board rules, mchat, gallery, awards), a...

It would be extremely nice if someone could please make a conversion of this simple and useful MOD: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1214605 (Yeah, I'm aware that it is possible to emulate it to a degree with the help of "items per page" ext, but this workaround is kinda ugly and only...

Re: Quote Notifications have stopped working

I did install a number of extensions. But since none of them had anything to do with notifications, and none of their users have reported similar bug (to my best knowledge), I decided to start by asking here - are there permissions for each notification type I could have possibly switched off? If th...

Re: Quote Notifications have stopped working

Thanks for the quick answer, Mick! Yes, all users have this problem at my forums. Yes, they have all the checkboxes checked in notification settings, and they do receive all other notifications (f.e. if someone mentions them by name, they get a notification). But the quote notification does not work...

Quote Notifications have stopped working

A few weeks ago users at my forums received a notification when someone quoted them. Now they don't. In ./ucp.php?i=ucp_notifications&mode=notification_options they have all checkboxes allright. Are there any separate permissions for quote notifications in the ACP I could have somehow changed (but c...

Re: [RC] phpBB Gallery

A weird small bug: - My board has two languages, Russian and British English; - Russian is the default one; - A user who has switched to English has Gallery title in the navbar written in Russian (meanwhile, all other navbar links are still in English). Not sure how or why exactly it happens - possi...

Re: [RC] mChat

Re: update fro 3.0.x to 3.1.x

1. My situation. Earlier I did a test run of update from 3.0.14 to 3.1.9. I prepared a new clear db fro 3.1, then I copied the tables from the 3.0 db, then run the update script (via cli). This error has not occurred during the test run. Now I'd doing the "real" migration as all test were fine. I'm ...
