Re: [BETA] Medal System MOD 1.0.1

garden of green If you only want to upload another image for medal, just put it into /images/medals/, and it's filename should appear as an option in a dropdown menu at 'Medal image' (third field from the top) in Medal settings. If it doesn't show up, well, may be some read permissions issue? You o...

Re: [BETA] Medal System MOD 1.0.1

Hey Jessica. Thanks for picking up this mod! Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from looking at the current code it seems like you still have open that exploit that allowed users to nominate others for any medal id, even if that medal has nominations disabled or even if that medal doesn't exist at ...

Re: Nesting loops in template file (3.0.11)

Really, folks. I've been struck with this problem for about two weeks. I've read wiki and I've searched forums. I've double and triple checked my code for errors. But I just couldn't get nested loops to work. I was on the verge of passing entire option/select structure as a single template var. I de...

Re: html attachments rejected as possible attack vector

Oh well. I guess I'll try to explain from the beginning. There is a phpbb configuration parameter called mime_triggers. It is stored in phpbb_config table and contains a list of tags that will be used as a black list for uploaded attachments. By default it contains rather restrictive (and safe) set ...

Re: html attachments rejected as possible attack vector

What do you mean by 'how it should'? It 'should' work with any values of config variables. It worked for me when I didn't need html attachments. When I tried to set variables to allow html attachments it didn't work for me. Hence this thread.

Re: html attachments rejected as possible attack vector

Well, config values are meant to be changed. And core code is meant to process those values correctly no matter how they are set. At the moment phpbb attachment code doesn't process correctly pair of config values: mime_triggers=""; check_attachment_content=0; While it correctly processes other valu...

Re: html attachments rejected as possible attack vector

Lumpy Burgertushie
If you had your mime_trigger setting properly set, and Check attachment was set to No, your board behaved exactly as told to.

Re: html attachments rejected as possible attack vector

Well, I feel extra stupid for my previous posts here, but I guess I have it figured out by now. Lazy way was to set mime_triggers to some non-existant tags: INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value) VALUES ('mime_triggers', 'blahblahblah'); then set 'Check attachments' to Yes. This allowe...

Re: html attachments rejected as possible attack vector

Well, I decided to cut this knot by adding missing triggers back: INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value) VALUES ('mime_triggers', 'body|head|html|img|plaintext|a href|pre|script|table|title'); But, guess what, I still get this error regardless of 'Check attachment' setting O_o Also yea...

Re: html attachments rejected as possible attack vector

clearly shows as unresolved. Whoops. My bad, I guess. Somehow I was under impression that both of those tickets are marked as closed/resolved. Possibly due to 3.0.9-PL1 marked as fix version in the other ticket. Sorry about that. What is your setting in attachment settings for Check attachment file...

Re: Show moderator on category.

Brf You are "technically" right, there are situations where a category had subforums with different moderators. However, there are situations when a category has subforums with the same set of moderators, and that's exactly when one wants to show those moderators on index. Since I never proposed th...

Re: Show moderator on category.

A bit of necro-posting, but someone might still need it just like I did.

What OP (and me) wanted to achieve could be done by commenting out one line in function_display.php:

Code: Select all

//			if ($row['forum_type'] != FORUM_CAT)
			{
				$forum_ids_moderator[] = (int) $forum_id;
			}
