Re: Advanced Visual Anti Bot

I'm having the same problems as some other people have had. I've done the mod, and I've added the images to the folder etc, but it's still looking at the old captcha images which is just a plain colour background with the text on it, rather than the one of the images... How have others sorted this?...

Re: Error message after posting

OK Thanks. I've just checked the permissions again one of my other forums and they are all the same (they are now anyway), but I'm still getting the error message. The other forum doesn't get any error messages when posting or anything like that. So I just don't get it. Nothing apart from the ad mod...

Re: Error message after posting

Any ideas what I need to do? Nothing has been changed in the last few weeks apart from the advertisements mod being installed.

Error message after posting

Hi All, We keep getting the attached error message on the screen which says 'your post has been submitted, do you want to view the post or return to the forum' screen. I have tried clearing the cache for the templates and theme, and I have purged the cache, neither of them have worked though. I have...

Re: PHPBB 3.0.0

Ah, thanks Kevin.

Is it ok to just upgrade the forum software from 3.0.0 to the latest version? I take it I dont need to do each update?

Making a User Read Only?

Hey All,

Is it possible to make a user read only? So that they are able to read all of the forums, but are unable to post or send PMs?
I have seen that there is a user option for 'No PMs', but can you stop them posting on the main boards as well?

Thanks
Paul
