feed addition to 3.06

Hi,

I'm confused, where is the feed symbol supposed to be within the forum (presumably in a topic) when activated in ACP? I've tried looking everywhere!

Re: Static pages

Have you tried looking in the knowledge base? There's a tutorial for adding prosilver themed page within your forum. I used it and it was easy to follow!

iPhone bookmark logo

Peeps,

how would I go about creating a bookmark square for iPod / iPhone users wishing to bookmark my forum to their device?

What measurements should the bookmark be and where would I link it to the forum and store within my server?!

Re: Custom designer?

Mcgovery,

you'll find a handful of users have signitures under their profiles advertising their services. Shop around and PM a user who is able to offer the service you require.

Importing current users and posts

Hi Peeps, I currently have a forum using the phpbb software and recently I have taken it upon myself to use a different server and database to put together the same forum but changing certain styles and adding a few fancy MODS. I'm wanting to transfer my users forums and posts to the newly built for...

Re: Template directory

Gotcha, cheers! Can i create php files within a root directory ie: root/directory/shopping/book1.php which are linked to directory/shopping/book1.html. I have a link to the php file as detailed above (obviously without the root part) but it doesn't seem to be communicating with the html file, or it ...

Username calling

Peeps,

Does anyone know what the shortcut code is for calling a username to the screen.

For example if i wanted a greeting message such as 'Welcome to the forum {USERNAME}' on the main page.

Does anyone know what code would have to be placed within a file to call the USERNAME?

Cheers

Re: blank pages in phpbb

I don't believe so, When i first started adding MODS i ran into the same trouble. PHP can be so delicate that the missing of just one character can cause havoc. Unless you want to go through all the codes and changed files to identify the mistake i suggest you start fresh and upload the default file...

Template directory

Peeps, Using information from the knowledge base I am trying to create a custom page. http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/add-a-new-custom-page-to-phpbb/ Creating the page as detailed isn't a problem. However I am wanting to create a directory within the template directory for my html files to sit in as...

Welcome {USER}

Peeps, Is it possible to input a snippet of code which would allow a message to greet a member by their username? I'm trying to create a ' Welcome back to the forum {USERNAME} ' message with {USERNAME} obviously being the name of the user. So if i was to login it would say ' Welcome back to the foru...

Re: Could not find email template file [ ./language/english/emai

To save complications it may just be worth copying files from both en and english into each others subdirectories. for example if you had: a.txt, c.txt, g.txt in the the sub directory 'en' and b.txt, d.txt, e.txt, f.text in the subdirectory 'english', why not just copy the txt files a,c and g from t...
