Function to obtain poster group id

I am looking to figure out how to get the poster's group id. I am currently looking at viewtopic.php (/viewtopic.php) and want to make something like $postrow = array( 'POST_AUTHOR_FULL' => get_username_string('full', $poster_id, $row['username'], $row['user_colour'], $row['post_username']), except,...

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_FOUNDER -->

Should do the trick...
Does that work, and if so, which file would I place it on?

This is very fun! I completed all of the basic missions (1-7).

Are you planning on releasing a version we can download anytime soon?

Re: Change User's Post Count

where do we edit the posts :S i can not see anywhere to edit posts. In the ACP: Go to Users and Groups. Where it says "Find a member:" you type the person's account name and hit submit. It should say "Posts: " and have a text box displaying the post count. If it does not appear,...

Re: [DEV] User/Group Post Themes

I would be very interested in this mod. Please continue to work on it. :D
Thank you!

Also, if you were to use this mod on an existing forum, would the previous posts by that group change color automatically?

Re: [Alpha] phpBB Calendar 0.0.3 (alightner/spacedog)

Do you think events should get displayed at a different time to the event poster when the poster changes his/her time settings, or should events always be displayed at the same time to the original poster - regardless of their current timezone/DST settings? I think that the feature should work as y...

Re: Change User's Post Count

Sorry.... syntax error on my part... :oops: Try this: $sql = 'SELECT COUNT(post_id) as total_posts FROM ' . POSTS_TABLE . ' WHERE poster_id = ' . $user_row['user_id'] . ' AND forum_id != ZZZ'; Also... after reading that phpBB has the capability for not incrementing the post count, I'm sure there's ...

Re: Change User's Post Count

I have a forum that is an "Off topic" forum, where spamming...etc... is somewhat aloud. For that forum, I do not allow the posts to increment the post counter. The only problem is that if I recount a user's post, it takes the posts in that forum and adds them. Is that supposed to occur? H...

Re: Change User's Post Count

That is the SQL statement that needs to be modified. Browse your phpbb_forums table to determine which forum posts you do not wish to count. Modify the SQL statement as follows: $sql = 'SELECT COUNT(post_id) as total_posts FROM ' . POSTS_TABLE . ' WHERE poster_id = ' . $user_row['user_id'] and foru...

Re: [Beta] Collapsible Categories

It is probably having a problem with the null field. I changed the Install to specify a default value of 0 (zero) so that field will never be null. It's strange because even if I globally set the default value to "null" or "0" it doesn't work unless I go into the ACP and go to p...

Mine also works perfectly once I put "null" for the default value. Thanks a ton!
