I thought so too.. maybe a hacker is gaining access or something. It's not secured with the best software and doesn't really have a production value rootkit, c/p manager or anything

I'ts a managed server frome somewhere else. I can't get to the logs of mysql/apache , but it's weird that when phpbb3 was installed the server started crashing almost every 2 days. And the server used to crash only 2 times a month. So, there must be indeed somethign wrong wyt mysql/php on that serve...

Hello,

I realise that I can't give any error message because I don't have access to those things on the server that hosts phpbb3 rc2.

I just want to know if there's anyone having multiple crashes per week of both mysql and http caused by phpbb3 ?

THks for your pointer, but for the subsilver2 site this seems totally different and thats the one which I would want it for..

wonder if it's not possible to have this option in the ACP really :)

Hello,

I guess modules arn't the same as mods so I hope I can request this here ? It would be cool if the moderator panel could be configured to let mods change some limited stuff from a user like username, profile field, website etc etc...

well the user from that particular group had bbcode functions on, but I needed to set it on for that particular forum yes: but now: even if I change the user's post.. the bb code won't work. I should ask him to post something else to test now... OK, my confusion was because i as admin had disable bb...

bbcode permission prob for several forum/users

Hello, I got yet another permission problem. Even if the designated forum will parse bbcodes, some users semm not to be able to do this. Also when I go into the groups permission of that user, if i click on advanced permission I see no bbcode function to enable. I can only see this when I choose adm...

I've got this error as well with several users (lucky i'ts less than 10).

I tried to 'resyncronize posts count ' but that doesn't seem to help.

Oh well.. so it's me who was faint..

You can add groups to other groups and if this group is added to the admin group it overrides everything, (i thought i denied that group from every forum it was inside)...

well, live and learn they say..

Hello,

Is there something wrong wit hthe way I've set permissions ?

A user who is in a group that doesnt have any moderator features can test my persmissions and he sees all forums that he isn't supposed to..

lol, can somebody help me out with this ?
