Instant Messages are TOO much to bear...

Hello Users, Most of the moderators here have so kindly let their Instant Message Information be in their public profile for emergencies or important information. Today alone, I received 13 instant messages. Yes, that is right, 13 instant messages. Can you install this board for me? What is the SDK...

Define RUN. Do you want to insert into a MySql database or view it on your own to edit it on your computer?

When you backup it, it sends you the file and you download it. A download prompt comes up. Depending on how large your board is and how fast your connection is to the internet, it can vary. ;)

Since that is the text user, highlight the drop-down box in whichever forums you want them to moderate, and then submit the page. :) That's it!

You have to give specific permissions to users in the admin panel. The link it at the bottom, and you can typ ein a users name and let them moderate their respected forum(s).

How about don't give everyone their own, because that takes too long. Just make a demo that resets every 1/2 hour. :)

If a group, then just make a group in the admin panel, choose that group to moderate certain forums, and then add users to that group by clicking on users on any page. :)

Usergroups are so great because it's not cluttered. On other BBS', you see 5-10 moderators. This way, withPhpBB2, there is 1 group with a whole lot of people in it. It looks a lot more professional and nice. :) It works well too and is easy to manipulate.

Go into phpMyAdmin, if you don't have it I suggest you download it from phpwizard.net. You can then set it up, upload it, and select your database. You can drop the tables, and then install it. :)

-Kyle

P.S.-Or you could delete the db and re-create it and then just install it. :)

Yea, I think that would be a good idea. I get this question at least 1 - 2 times a day. We need to say that the SDK is Software Development Kit and exactly what it does, and why you would need this. I'll talk to the perspective people about this. Thank YOU!

Ok, then I would drop all the tables from the db and then try to install it.
