Re: Saving config values into database

I think the problem is with that part of the code: $this->new_config[$config_name] = $config_value = $cfg_array[$config_name]; Config entries has to be added first (probably in migration files by config.add) Then the whole function works. However.. when i modify the code: $config_value = $cfg_array[...

ACP - Modules positions

This is the last one - I promise. I know that this thing is HUGE so i don't expect it to be implemented soon. It's just a kind of suggestion. Something worth considering for the future. Wordpress has a widget system. Joomla has module positions management. Would LOVE to see similar feature in phpBB....

Re: ACP - Menu management

Do you mean management of menus from the ACP (so the menu saying About, Downloads on phpbb.com), or managements of menus in the ACP? What I meant is: http://monosnap.com/image/d7YpqxX84K9cQyWjsltP6sCeA.png You won't believe how often I'm being asked by users such a questions: - how can i add my own...

ACP - Menu management

Menu management component/interface would be nice. Current solution - hardcoding it into overall_header.html is well.. not user friendly enough :)

Modules - Automatic installation system

To make modules installing a breeze I suggest including Automod (or similar automatic module installation system) with official phpBB3 release. Current solution - install automod to install another modules sounds kinda funny.

Hi Guys, Thanks for awesome release. One question. Why feed icon in forumlist-body.html is commented out, so you are unable to display it: <!-- IF S_ENABLE_FEEDS and forumrow.S_FEED_ENABLED --><!-- <a class="feed-icon-forum" title="{L_FEED} - {forumrow.FORUM_NAME}" href="{U_...

Switch style by url

Is there any possibility to switch style like:

http://your_phpbb3_install/index.php?style=2

WITHOUT telling users to log-in/register ?

Just a demo website with style switching for phpbb3 ...
