I never noticed, since I only use Navicat, it has everything a developer needs for managing databases.
Apparently it's coming in the next release, but since it isn't in there I'm sticking with the GUI tools until 5.2 is stable. P:

Re: [Discuss] Announcing Titania, the Customisation Database

And what's even neater, I can now read the edit box without having to use the Hubble Telescope. :) Thanks Nathan! I did notice a bug with it though. :( If you fill up the quick reply area with non-breaking stuff (eg, with repeating s) it doesn't expand until you take your finger off the letter. The...

Re: When to send reminder for activation email?

Definitely. Try to stick with a week, two weeks for the first reminder.

Re: iPhone 4

The new iphone has 1.6 times the number of pixels than the other phones there. Oh goodie, higher resolution phone-porn? I find it interesting how the Droid has the most expandability with regards to storage. Certainly makes it a viable contender for multimedia, especially since you can carry...

Re: Apple iPad

And what is wrong with that line? Seems fine to me. Safari is free, not proprietary. Safari most certainly is proprietary. Webkit/WebCore is primarily LGPL (not GPL) precisely for that reason. - Adam Right, because if it was GPL, Safari itself would have to be GPL'd as well, which we know it isn't.

Re: WAMP for XP & Vista

I've tried WampServer, they have a Link tables issue, as well as the phpMyAdmin ain't working right, the drop-down menu for choosing Databases don't work. You should use a Database admin tool other than phpMyAdmin, such as Navicat or MySQL Workbench. PMA is extremely slow compared to other tools, a...

Well, regardless of what you choose, do note that any logging on your server (and in phpBB) will allow anyone with the data to backtrack who said what anyways. ;)

Re: When to send reminder for activation email?

Inactive users get reminded whenever someone thinks to do it (we usually keep it to three reminders at maximum), and we keep inactive users for three months.

Re: Apple iPad

Right now companies like Boost Mobile offer "real" unlimited plans (phone, text and Internet) for $60 and under per month. Fun fact: it isn't as unlimited as you think. If you read the fine print, Boost and such companies reserve the right to cancel your service for "excessive use", which is whatev...

- Change Username Color - Change Username Font Type or anything else, like that? =D The only way to change a user's usercolor is via a group, so adding a user to a group would be how you would accomplish the first thing. The second thing is not supported by phpBB by default anyways, so you would ha...

Re: WAMP for XP & Vista

Like I said, MySQL GUI tools is EOL (no support), and there's navicat lite (available on the same site as navicat, just have to look a bit harder in downloads) which is free. MySQL workbench, the stable version, does not have anything that allows you to interact with your database server, however; t...

Re: WAMP for XP & Vista

Previous jobs in offices using phpMyAdmin had the Drop-down Menu, as well as in Apache2Triad, is there a reason that isn't working in XAMPP/WampServer or is it just something available to certain phpMyAdmin installations/configurations? Probably. Thing is, since you're using XAMPP on a local machin...

Re: WAMP for XP & Vista

I'm running Vista, and haven't hit any issues yet with XAMPP. This is over a year that I've been using it, FYI.

Try running it, works well enough.
