Re: Updated 3.1.5 - 3.1.6, ACP tells me I'm running 3.1.6-RC1

you probably picked the wrong zip package. How? I go to the download page and it asked me to pick what version I'm running, I picked 3.1.5 and it offered me two download links, 3.1.5 to 3.1.6 in zip or bz2 format. How exactly did I end up with 3.1.6-RC1 from doing that? Thanks for the pointers on f...

Re: [Release] Darkness for phpBB 3.0 RC5

Embedded Youtube support is just done through the admin panel BBCode function, so there's no reason it should be affected by template (I have Youtube, Spoiler and Strikethrough tags defined). Not sure about the invite-only mod as it's not one I use.

Re: [Release] Darkness for phpBB 3.0 RC5

Thanks for the info, DJBenz..but 2 things: 1) Are you sure everything works on your forum? Because I contacted the author of the forum ( Rove ), and he told me that the file search_results.html has to be changed for the update to be okay. Do you know anything about hat? I'm pretty sure I didn't mod...

Re: Database problems cause forum weirdness

Just as a conclusion to this thread, I ended up dropping the tables from the database and starting with a fresh install of phpbb3.0.2 The forum was pretty borked anyway, with a lot of threads making no sense due to the missing users/posts so a fresh start was decided on. Many thanks to stevemaury fo...

Re: [Release] Darkness for phpBB 3.0 RC5

Is anyone still maintaining this great theme?? We're using it on our website at http://www.darkasia.com and we really love it, thanks a lot to the original author! :) Now that there's the 3.0.2 update, I'm wondering if this theme will break? Has anyone tried it? I use this theme on our forum at htt...

Re: Database problems cause forum weirdness

Took some screenshots last night: This is the result of the query: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v172/OuluDan/imon/th_phpmyadmin2.gif And this is the phpbb3_posts table, ordered by post_time: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v172/OuluDan/imon/th_phpmyadmin3.gif As you can see, the result of the...

Re: Database problems cause forum weirdness

Thanks Jim. :)

OK, so the query returns the following result:

topic_last_poster_id = 119
topic_last_post_time = 1512601983
topic_last_poster_name = [BLOB - 11 Bytes]

Which is weird, because it wouldn't show when phpbb3_posts was ordered by post time. :?

stevemaury wrote:Can you post the contents of your config.php file, using the Codetags and without the password, and post screenshots from phpMyAdmin showing the DSN and DB name and table prefix? Thanks.
I'll get onto it tonight. Thanks for your continued support Steve, it is very much appreciated.

Re: Database problems cause forum weirdness

Done several times, while I was repairing/optimizing the database. Did: db repair db optimize Clear cache via FTP Resynch forums In that order. I'll try again though, just in case something's stayed behind that shouldn't. I don't have FTP access to the forum at the moment, I'll try in a few hours an...

Re: Database problems cause forum weirdness

Yes.

phpbb3_ is the table prefix. (I set it as this on install, because phpbb_ was already used for the previous install of phpbb2). There's nothing else using the database at present.
