Re: phpnuke and phpbb

I have experienced the identical thing in PHP-Nuke and it is a way to stop hackers from using UNION hacks on the site. There is a way to circumvent this:

Re: patch for headers of email sent in non-ascii languages

This encodes the entire subject line to ISO-8859-1 and worked with emailer.php of 2.0.17 Find: // Build header $this->extra_headers = (($this->reply_to != '') ? "Reply-to: $this->reply_to\n" : '') . (($this->from != '') ? "From: $this->from\n" : "From: " . $board_config['board_email'] . "\n") . "Ret...

Re: patch for headers of email sent in non-ascii languages

Thanks for a nice patch. I have tried it on phpbb 2.0.17 and it works, but there seems to be a minor bug.The words are sometimes integrated into next word like på inlägg is påinlägg. It happens when two adjecent words both contains the Swedish national characters åäö. I have used the patch in a Swed...

Re: Memberlist month translation

I have Swedish and the translation works perfectly well in the forum, except in the two cases for Month I decribed.

Re: Memberlist month translation

Thanks! It is fully translated allright for my language and exactly the identical problem is for Norwegian too. Maybe others have similar problems in Memberlist and in Joined: Month?

Re: Memberlist month translation

Thanks. I tried that, but it did not change the wrongly translated months. Luckily for me, it is only two months that gets translated wrong May and Oct. It seems to me that it must be a bug, as month here does not get translated at all as it should.

Re: Memberlist month translation

lang_main.php for my language is translated correctly, but the translation for the month is not used in the part of forum I mentioned, but instead english is used. The strange thing is, if I change the content of lang_main.php of english to my language, it is still english for the month that is used...

Memberlist month translation

It seems to me that in non-english forums the phpbb displays the member at each forum post as joined: and the month abbreviation is in English rather than the current chosen language of the forum. This seems to be the case for the Memberlist too. Is there a fix for this small problem?

Re: Find all posts in member profile question

I have found the solution in an old thread here and it was very simple to fix.

this problem is regarding the phpbb_search_results table of the database and the field "search_array". it has to be set up to "longtext" or "mediumtext".

Re: Find all posts in member profile question

I am using 2.0.10, because I don't dare to upgrade. I have .htaccess protection of admin folder, so I am not afraid of hackers.

There's a fix in the report that Graham linked to.
The link is unfortunately not working anylonger. As I have this problem also I wonder, if anyone knows about the fix mentioned?

Problem Find all posts from Profile

The top poster of my forum has almost 10000 posts. When I go to his profile and click on Find all posts by him, the first page show up with posts allright, but if I try to view other pages with his posts like 2, 3 etc I get the message No topics or posts matched your search criteria. In the database...
