Re: {REQUEST} - Topics Anywhere for phpBB 3.x.

In the original that was for phpbb2 the posts were displayed/written by a javascript code - is there any way to do that?

Cheers

Integrate phpBB on website to show latest threads...

I've noticed on http://www.sikhnet.com/ that there is a tab called "forums" in the home page which shows the latest forum threads... It looks great and I'd like to get this on my site too! Is there a MOD for this, or does anyone know anyway I could get this/create it to put on all pages of...

phpBB Flash widget for website

Hello! Just upgraded to 3.0.4 - woohoo! Added the RSS MOD too, and it worked brilliantly... which leads me to my next question... Are there any Flash components similar to this: http://eco.netvibes.com/widgets/2358/phpbb-com-announcements - that I could put across the site I work with in order to sh...

Changing style/css for each forum

Hi there I have another question *sorry!*... Basically, I'd like to use one pivotal forum across a range of domains. However, I'd like to create sub-forums for each site and point directly to that forum/sub-forum (probably in an iframe). Is there anyway I can edit the style/css for each sub-forum (i...

PMs mysteriously being read?

http://www.diabetes.co.uk/diabetes-forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3833 Hi guys - please see the link above. I am the webmaster for the Diabetes forum, and people are saying that sometimes their PMs are either removed or read. I'm stunned! I am certainly not doing anything of the sort, as the admin -...

Which file has the FAQ/Search/Members/Logout bit in?

Hi guys... Quick question - which file has the FAQ/Search/Members/Logout text in (where it says UCP 0 new messages | View posts | FAQs...etc)? I'd like to add a link to a chatroom we've got hosted on the site. However, it needs a .js included so it loads up - should I include this in this file (that...

Seeing if passwords are the same - C# aspx integration

Hi - I'm trying to install a chat software, which is in C# aspx and integrate it with phpBB3. I was wondering if there are any functions out there in C# aspx that do the md5 algorithm and test to see if the passwords are the same. The reason I'm asking is because I was using the md5 algorithm here: ...

Email sent from forum is in loop!

Hi all - I sent an email about 3 months ago to the forum via the phpBB3 software - but they're still getting it - some people have received it up to 30 times. How can I stop this? I did post this before, and was told to delete the cache - I did this but it's STILL going!! :o I have no idea how to st...

Re: Advertisements on phpBB3 like on this site

As always (like columbo) one last question - which page do I edit to actually place the ad undeneath the "It is currently 03 Sep 2008.." and "Last visit was..." texts?

I guess I just need to find which page has that text in it?
