Advertisements on phpBB3 like on this site

Hi again! Thanks for all your help about the password. Now I have another 3 questions this time (rather than 1 that becomes 10!!!) :) 1. Which phpBB3 page do I have to edit to add advertisements to the forum pages like on this page? (right at the bottom - the 728 x 90 banner)? 2. Also, if I wanted t...

Mass email problem

Hi there,
I sent out a mass email last week and users are still getting mails sent to them - any idea why?

How do I stop this/halt any other of the same emails from sending?

Cheers
Aj

Re: Comparing entered password to that stored by phpBB3

Thanks for that.

To be honest, I'm not sure they do - and I just want to make sure I have some sort of indication on how to do it, before I get their software, as often its not actually quite like its sold!!

Thanks again!

Re: Add fields to user profile

You are an uber-legend. OK, one last question (well 2!)... 1. How do you get the site rank image showing? Currently, under image it shows "------" - which folder do I need to upload the images to? (I'm guessing I just need the images int he right dir?) 2. Are there any mods you suggest usi...

Re: Add fields to user profile

Oh - yeah, I forgot to say - I wasnt sure how to do this as surely I'd need to add some columns to the phpbb_users database as well as modifying some of the pages. So i thought there muyst be an easier way to do this!!!

I've simplified what I want to ask, but the principle is the same - I want to ask stuff that isnt asked already on a users profile. Is there a MOD for ...

Re: Converter Release: Snitz Forums to PHPBB and PHPNuke

Hi, I am converting a Snitz forum to PHPBB2 (I'm then going to upgrade to PHPBB3)... I have exported all of the Snitz Access DB tables into MySQL (using the ODBC). I was using the converter mentioned on here. I ran it, but am currently getting this error: mysql_errno = 1366 mysql_error = Incorrect i...
