Whilst on the subject of HTML >>>>>

I pasted some HTML into one of my threads in my forum and I have HTML enabled, but it only displays the code and not the img that I am trying to display.

I have recently upgraded from 2.0.4 to 2.0.6

Problem

Thats the problem - I have lots of mods in place on my current phpbb - I am not interested in keeping them - I am no expert but I think this would corrupt all my mods and I would end up with many problems.

Any ideas?

Help with upgrade

I am currently using Ver - 2.0.4 and I am looking to use Ver 2.0.5 I am not interested in keeping any of my current mods - so is it easier just to re-install all the new files in Ver 2.0.5? If I did this how would I copy my current list of registered users and posts in my updated forum? Thanks James...

post from Xento

Ref the post from Xento, I am looking to add a login box for my forum on my index.html not my index.php (forum homepage)

As Nikcon stated I think this is going to cause a few problems to try and do.......
