It will slow a bit because of the str_replace But don't put bbcode into the hatelist, just set "Parse tooltips as normal posts" to No. That way the tooltips are just fetched and printed without any mumbo jumbo. Another big resource hog is the permission checking... but doubt that could be ...

The reason why tooltips are slow with this mod is the parsing. Just switch off BBcode in them and half the problem should be removed. If I find the time I'll tinker with this to get it working with AJAX, have made different tooltips get data from ajax before, should be possible to make it work with ...

Heh, that's not a problem with the mod file, it's a problem with you using software that cannot interpret Linux line-endings.

WordPad is standardly available and able to show these line-endings afaik, don't know about anything else though.

O.o

It has exactly the same layout as any other mod. Perhaps only it does too much with editing big chunks of code

Ok thanks, that was a problem that emerged from making the fix wrongly. The installation worked before, but when people do it manually they seem to be doing it in a different way than EM and thus get it wrongly. So that is now fixed in v1.14.9, also the language stuff you pointed out was fixed, than...

Although this is pretty old news, first heard of it last November or December, it's still a pretty cool thing. I'd definately want one.

But hey, even the currently available dual touch mouse pad for mac laptops isn't too shaby.

@next.level: TD1.14.7 has the search thing fixed and possibly a few others.

@bobber: yeah it does seem like a conflict but I'm not entierly sure what could be causing it :S
