problems adapting phpBB style

Hello, I've been updating a particular board (link: see signature for the time being!) to version 3.2, but am running into problems updating the style I'm using for the site's layout. Actually it's the ' Aero ' style which itself has been updated for 3.2 already and works . However, after adding my ...

Re: [Release] Aero for phpBB 3.2.0

I have a serious problem installing the style to my board - with freshly uploaded phpBB 3.2 files, all extensions disabled, cache cleared and only prosilver activated. When trying to install the style, I end up with a blank screen (usually indicating a php script error). The PHP error log says: [Mon...

Re: "Timeout detected" updating from 3.1.9

Please, can anyone help me to get my forum to update completely.

I'm starting to worry that the next update may be around the corner and I've not even been able to complete the 3.2 update yet ... :?

thanks, r.

Re: "Timeout detected" updating from 3.1.9

Hello, I downloaded the 3.1.9 to 3.2.0 package, copied it's contents into the "install" directory, started <forum>/instal , updated the files (which was going fine, including uploading the changed files, re-checking them and deleting the obsolete files from the server), then I think the upgrade rout...

"Timeout detected" updating from 3.1.9

Can anyone help me please ... I have the same problem (also updating from 3.1.9 to 3.2.0, PHP 5.6.30). I have already uploaded the corrected ftp_file_uploader.php file, but it still gives me the timeout error (also when deleting the update_config.file). The error comes up again and again.... I...

Re: 3.1.9 to 3.2: "The installer detected a timeout" error

Can anyone help me please ... I have the same problem (also updating from 3.1.9 to 3.2.0, PHP 5.6.30). I have already uploaded the corrected ftp_file_uploader.php file, but it still gives me the timeout error. I don't think the timeout value (which one actually is it) of php.ini is the reason, as al...

Problem updating the database 3.1.9 -> 3.2

Hello, I've been doing the update on my phpBB 3.1.9 installation, however, I can't complete the database update. At first, I've been doing the "files + database update" routine, but it seems that database wasn't updated at all since it still indicated 3.1.9. So I run the update routine again, this t...

Re: [Release] Aero (phpBB 3.1.10)

It would require a complete rewrite as there are so many code changes in 3.2. wow ... does that mean you would advise NOT to update to 3.2 if my forum is currently based on 3.1. 9 + aero style, would it break the layout or result in other issues? Anyhow, at this chance, kudos for a great style agai...

Re: [RC1] Digests 3.0.2

Extending my bug report from above, e) some users also still receive digests with multiple email addresses in the "to:" field! Embarrasingly, those emails have one username in them, meaning that all users indirectly get access to other user's email addresses... Digging through the digests log in the...

Re: [RC1] Digests 3.0.2

FYI, a) finding users in the "Edit subscribers" feature still doesn't work. b) and, on my often mentioned larger board (~ 500 visitors daily, 30k users, 500k posts) I (=with my own user account on the board) have never received any digest email, although I see that digest emails are sent out on an h...

Re: [RC1] Digests 3.0.2

@craig the email templates are stored in the ext/phpbbservices/digests/language/en/email subdirectory. @Mark thanks for the response, the affected (not all!) mails are sent in personalized form (like: 'Dear joe,...') but with 2-4 digest user email addresses in the TO: field of the email (!). Some pu...

Re: [RC1] Digests 3.0.2

Test report with the latest version: Before testing, I made sure that there is no system cron job is running related to phpbb. 1) according to logs (on the server, not in phpbb) some of the emails have more email addresses in the 'to:' field which is of course a privacy issue. It looks to me that th...
