Sounds...

*edit* i just tried reseting and admin to a user and then setting their user status to super but it didn't work. any ideas?? Which version of this mod do you have installed? There were three parts to it when I installed it, the main mod, the mod that fixes the problem with reseting the user status ...

Sorry for the problems. I must have put in a buggy copy of the zip on the server. I've corrected the "mesage" problem, and the problem with the SQL (apparently I moved a block of code to be before a variable was set instead of after it). Thanks for the update. I'm glad it's working out for you. I st...

As long as the users had a phpbb interface to edit all their profile info, I don't see why you couldn't just disable the guest's ability to change their profile in Digichat? Then you wouldn't need the bot for the profile stuff. Sarah I'd like to agree with you, but it seems users would rather updat...

I've also heavily modified this MOD to get it to work nicely on our site, running phpBB2.0.8a. I actually stripped out a lot of stuff and made it simpler. The main thing is that there is no reason to create the template files, since they are pretty much the same as the standard admin template files,...

I have my beta current version up and running now, but it does not have all the features I plan on having yet. The main thing lacking is the ability to choose an icon from phpBB, but I'm working on an idea of how to do that (similar to how you can select smilies). The other thing mossing is the Bot ...

I'm almost done with the second phase: adding the chat profile fields to the forum profile. I didn't realize how much trouble this would prove to be with all the files that need to be editted. But It's almost there. I'm trying to make sure that it works through EasyMOD, so it won't be too bad to add...

Scarah, thanks for trying it out and noticing the problems. I'll be posting a new version of the chat.php that actually takes care of both of the problems you mentioned. 1) It will only allow someone who is logged into the board to access the page, and thus the chats. 2) It will first check to see i...

Just a suggestion... I tried installing this MOD using EasyMOD on my already heavily MODed php2.0.8a forum, and it failed in the usercp_register.php update. I would suggest changing your find from: # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------ # $strip_var_list = array('username' => 'us...

Re: Found Fix, Please Sticky

templates/subSilver/admin/mod_history.tpl I tried the fix and it failed .. it was to open up this file and find <td width="5%" class="{install.ROW_CLASS}" align="center"><span class="gensmall">details</span></td> Delete the extra space between 5%" class to make it look like <td width="5%" class="{i...

Doh! Of course that makes sense. You should be able to get to the board with my working beta version of the MOD installed starting Saturday. I really should call this an ALPHA, and not a BETA since I have not completed what I think is the standard feature set for the mod. Currently it requires that ...

Nathan -

Something that has been bothering me for a while is why the spellcheck always flags "I'm" as a misspelled word. And it suggests "Iamb" and "Immy" as replacements???? Where did those words come from?

HA! I hacked it to work! But please someone let us know how to fix this correctly. Examining the source code for the "Process" Button we see: <form method="post" action=""> <input type="hidden" name="mode" value="process"> <input type="hidden" name="install_file" value="install.txt"> <input type="hi...

Re: I changed install.txt file.....

I found the easiest and quickest way to fix this problem was to add a space in the install.txt file located in the folder of the mod itself. It said success when I installed it, but I still do not have an uninstall option. Any ideas? OK. I have it installed also (version 1.2.0 with a fix for the fi...
