Several types of "News" feeds

Hello, I'm not sure I'm posting in the correct place so sorry if I'm in the wrong forum. I have version 3.0.7-1 and I think the "news" feed is very useful! It is the feed of news which allows selecting several forums to display the new topics in these forums. But instead of having one feed with the ...

Re: Custom Profile Fields Update Reminder

Yes you're right, sorry. But I didn't see this redirection and was able to view sub-forums.
I will check the code tomorrow. Maybe a problem during update.

Re: Custom Profile Fields Update Reminder

So I removed a compulsory custom field from the registration page, I created a new user, I put back the field in the registration page, I reset the reminder and then I logged in as the new user. No pop window  Strange...

Re: Custom Profile Fields Update Reminder

Hello, Just a question: I have updated my forum from 3.0.5 to 3.0.7 and I would like to check that this mod still works. My idea was to take a test user, go to the database, delete one of the value, then log in as this test user to see the result. But I couldn't see the pop window (and the data has ...

Re: Welcome PM on First Login

Hi,

Look for my posts in this topic, cause I found a solution (although we could never find why it is happening with some boards).
If you can't find the post, let me know.

Bye.

Re: Test on the domain name

Thanks for your answer but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm trying to use this in viewforum.php, store the result in a variable so I can see the result in the template, but nothing shows. (Of course I purge the cache every time). I found the function function extract_current_hostname() in session....

Re: Custom Profile Fields Update Reminder

I can see this text + button on the administration main page, just above "empty cache".
Is it where you are looking?

Test on the domain name

Hello, I have a board with 2 domain names. In a personal php page, I need to make a test on the domain name (= to know which domain is used by the registered user), is there a variable which contains this information in phpbb? I found phpbb_root_path, but I don't think it's the one. And if it doesn'...

Re: th23 Domain

I have re-re-checked the changes in the files, seems OK. Now I have deactivated the mod, cause I cannot leave it like that if it doesn't work. But if someone wants to help me, please let me know, and I will activate it again very quickly. Thanks. Hello, I have a board with 2 domain names: http://ww...

Re: Enable Browser Language Detection

Hi again,

I was so sure you had created an updated version since php 3.0.6 but I was probably confusing with another mod.
So, I already had version 1.2.2 on my board, I checked the changes in the code, and found a mistake.
Works now :) Sorry.

Re: Enable Browser Language Detection

I will, but didn't have time yet.
With a board with 4 languages and many mods, it's not so quick and easy ;)

OK so I will install you last version tomorrow and see how it goes, thanks.

Re: Error "URL file-access is disabled in the server config..."

Thanks Carlino.
I found the solution, I had to edit my .htaccess file.
