Once the template gets final ise d is not the time to nitpick, the time is now. Once the template is finalised there will not be a chance for constructive criticism. We are trying to future proof this template due to the fact its a PITA to change an XML schema and all the compatibility issues etc.....

I think the XML MOD Template is a great idea, but I'm gonna list a few things that I think should be added or changed. (I may mention something that's been mentioned already, just to show my support for that change.) First, I'd like to second the requests for explanations. I'm specifically wondering...

I'm developing this on a completely vanilla board, but after it's complete, I'll certainly accept any modifications needed to use in conjunction with other MODs, especially Ptirhiik's, because those are always very detailed.

I'm just posting to give an update on the status. I'm still developing this, on and off. Back in November 2004, I made major progress on the Admin Panel page, which allows for the addition and deletion of topic types, as well as localization and sorting. When version 1.2.0 is ready for release, it w...

To supplement what I said above, smithy is also referring to version numbers with an odd "y" digit, which are therefore marked as being in development. The bottom line: The only MODs allowed to have topic in the MOD Development forum are those that are actually in development: those where the "x" di...

Sorry, but it is very important that i am able to do this quickly, because i believe that they've already got a backdoor bot in my comp. The fact that they could be abusing the regulations of the site that hosts them is probably a god-send to my parents who are very, well, annoyed at the recent eve...

I believe smithy is referring to the fact that the MOD Development forum is reserved only for MODs that are actually in development. Meaning, once the version number of a MOD reaches 1.0.0, it must be submitted to the MOD Database and cease to exist in the MOD Development forum, since it's no longer...

I apologize for not mentioning this sooner. I had done a bit of reorganizing a while back, and my uploaded copy of this file was affected.

The same file can be found here.

Not to mention that MODs are pretty backed up in the MOD DB and newly submitted MODs won't be even looked at for at least a month, maybe more.
