I don't think its problem with phpbb.

Try rebooting your computer. I faced similar problem when pc is under high load.

Thanks BAGHDAD-RAWA for the info. I do not run update_to_2011.php as this is my first patch. Anyway i will be running the upgrade script now.

I applied the path, it don't upgrade my phpBb version.

Don't know i missed anything.

I edited the template file

overall_footer.tpl

chanaged {PHPBB_VERSION} to 2.0.11 so hackers won't try my forum :D

Did you changed the Cookie Domain ?

I faced same problem once i installed photopost with phpbb, that need the cookie domain changed to access to two different sub domains, caused already loged in user can't loged off.

Yes, you need a MySQL data base to install phpBB.

Contact your host or check if there any option to create MySQL in your control panel, many web hosting control panel provide this.

Download the patch file and patch your phpBB.

This will still show phpBB v 2.0.10 as it won't path the template version as it is not very important. I have done that for my forum as i have few MODs installed.

You can better provide URL of your forum where the Quick Reply MOD installed, so others can see if its installed properly or not and give you comments.

Run

mysqladmin proc stat

to see open connections.

Most of the case a server reboot will solve this problem.

You can directly upgrade to v2.0.11

If you have SSH access, try the patch, i have done that, it is easy to do. You can din it in the download page.

But take a backup of your MySQL db before doing anything.
