Re: Germany archives the internet

That's hilarious, lol. It's like someone using voice recognition software, saying "Call the plumber" and expecting it to call the plumber.

To the developers of phpBB/anyone that has helped: /salute.

All of my favorite forums are powered by phpBB, which has helped keep open source software popular.

Re: Which is better: Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion?

How about Virtualbox? It's a great, open source alternative to Parallels or Vm fusion. Personally I would give up features to support something open source.

Re: Alternative operating system, considering ubuntu.

I haven't started up Windows for several days now, I'm making a personal record. I would recommend you Ubuntu (NOT Kubuntu, KDE seriously sucks, and not Xubuntu because it's less supported and XFCE isn't as good as Gnome), it's really easy to use and makes learning Linux a lot less scary.

Re: Free Text Editors

I hope nobody kills me when I say that I don't like notepad++, it uses Comic Sans Ms as one of the fonts and I can't be bothered to compile it from source, let alone change that part of the code.

You can't really "Own" something licensed under the GPL. Or at least, I don't think so.

[Request] Dynamic PM Permissions based on usergroup for3.0.1

After an extensive search, I haven't found anything with the same effect for our forum version in mod requests, releases or development- If there's another topic, I'm sorry and I wasn't aware of it. On a forum I go to we've been wanting a mod for PHPBB (3.0.1) that allows Administrators to give diff...

Re: Theme doesn't change when I edit files

Well, the results are simple, the look of the style stays exactly the same. I've got to go now, please tell me anything you want me to tell you.
