Sorted thanks for your help.

Upgraded from .4 to .5 great except one thing

Firstly thank you for all the continued hard work in developing the board. The upgrade from .4 to .5 went very smoothly. All mods still working just fine.

Just one thing my header has been overwritten.

Could someone take a look (bss-exchange.co.uk) and advise on a remedy.

Thanks.

Re: Advanced Visual Anti Bot

I think i've reached the end of the road with what I can try. Is the images/captcha directory missing in the board upgrade files. Can't understand why I would be missing that file.

Thanks for all the help it would have been a great benefit to my board. On to Plan B.

Create the directory yourself.

Better still, copy the whole directory from your local machine to the server with your FTP client. :D

Craig.

Done all that before m8 even copied over jpeg's one by one and still no joy.

Only the server admin can tell you that. ;)
Actually i'd missed it and it was there in the php. Host confirmed this. Not sure where to go with this. Maybe the problem was not having a Captcha directory in images.

Any ideas?

Re: Advanced Visual Anti Bot

Checked the code and i've got --enable-gd-native-ttf' but haven't got '--with-gd' (php v.5.2.9) Can I enable this manually or should I contact the host to see whethe...

Re: Advanced Visual Anti Bot

You also have to have GD enabled on your forum (found under the visual confirmation settings). I did that from the start as original post says. Still no good. I'm wondering if there is a php issue here. Could the ACP think that the GD is on but it is not enabled in the php. What would I be looking ...

Thank you.
If the directory isn't there, then make it and add the images to it from the mod download.
Did that but it didn't work.

Re: Preventing Spam in 3.0 [*Read First Post*]

Hi I didn't have the folder images - captcha so I placed the captcha folder in the images directory.

I think i should have put them somewhere else as none of those images appear and i've not overwritten anything?

Knowledge Base - Moving Your phpBB3 Forum To A New Host Using phpMyAdmin.
I think the problem here is that I exported the database through the ACP not Phpmyadmin.
