Actually, it may be because I didn't include the period before wildemotorsports.com. I saw someone with a similar post, and you included the period on their's as well. Care to explain the importance of the period? Also, it seems that when a user logs in, they must log in again to actually get throug...

It's not really in a file persé, it's all in the database. If you're running on an Apache server, type your domain name, then /admin. If you know your admin login name and password, that should be the same as your mySQL login and password. Then you're going to want to find table phpbb_config, and ed...

That didn't work. Still can't login as anyone.

Scratch that. I edited the database with SQL myAdmin, access back again.

Okay, so I changed that, now I can't login at all as anyone.

Fixed my login problem through mySQL myadmin, it still happens randomly however, and although it might not have been intentional, please don't give me anymore potentially malicous instructions. :)

I seem to be having a similar problem.

It's very random though, I have yet to duplicate the problem, but have witnessed it happen on more than one occasion.

Thanks! I'll certainly give that a shot!

I figured it would be something simple like that, but I am just figuring out stylesheets, and was unable to find the specific syntax for the backround image.

I got that far last night, and was able to figure that out.

What I cannot do, is get the backround pictures for the specific cells to load.

I can get the stylesheet to work, changes the cell backround color and font and paragraph, but not the picture backround.

Login randomly fails

Hi everyone! Just installed phpbb2.0.4 and I've got an amazing issue that I've searched for but was unable to find an answer I'm willing to accept. Sometimes, when I log in to my forums, I will type in a valid name & password, either administrative or not, and when I click the Login button...

CSS outside of phpbb[s]

This might be a silly question, that is somewhat off the normal phpbb topic, but I do value your guys input very much, so I figured I would come here. I just recently installed phpbb2 on www.wildemotorsports.com. I am wondering if there is any way to get the cascading style sheets from the style I'm...

EMail validation

Hi everyone! When I registered for THIS forum, it took around 3 days to receive my verification EMail to actually post here. I've recently downloaded, uploaded, and partially installed phpBB on my website, and my host is currently configuring the server to run it. My question is, with my very limite...

Seems bizarre to me that someone would open an account and have their first post be this way. Come to think of it, this is MY first post too. From what I've seen so far, I find it rather obsurd that phpBB would host anything improper, let along illegal or unlawful. :) Keep up the good work phpBB, I ...
