My password for myadmin and my site are different but here's something...I sent my details to a trusted member and he said he can log in fine. There's no hint of anything unusual in the ban list for IP's, email or username. So, the problem it would seem is not that end. Since I've had this for aroun...

Site hacked - any way to unban myself?

My site has been hacked and myself and the other admin are both banned. A multitude of other users have found it difficult to gain entry to the site lately and the whole thing is chaos. I have two questions really - first, is there an easy wasy to unban myself with say FTP access to the phpbb files?...

The site is www.theliverpoolfcforum.co.uk about Liverpool Football Club. Everyone i've asked can access the site apart from me and I've tried re-typing the URL in since you suggested it...no luck.

I've freed all the sites up in zonealarm incase it was that and also disabled it but still no go.

Open your backed up database with wordpad and search down...it's pretty easy to spot where a table starts and ends as it has

Code: Select all

#
# Table Data for phpbb_forumauth_access
#
something like this at the start of each table

I remember an old solution being to split the database into your tables and upload them all singly as someone started doing.

Won't your word list come back naturally with the database restrored?

Other members report that they can access the site...that's not good. By the way, I have MyAdmin installed and can't access that either.

Could it be a virus or what? I've scanned but came back with nothing.

Has my site been hacked? I was running 2.0.6 and all i see ...
