safe mode and phpbb

Hi! My hosting company recently migrated me to a new server and for some reason they decided to enable sfaemode in the new server. I was wondering what are the potential problems/errors that could arise when sfae mode is enabled. I have many mods in my phpbb and just want to know how sfae mod could ...

Hi! Since we are on the topic of frames and phpbb. I have a question. Is it possible to load just the top menu bar of the forum in one frame while the rest of the forum on another frame? For example, the top menu bar is on the top frame wile the rest of the forum is at the bottom frame?

Thanks.

I'm getting exactly the smae error as well. I dunno if it's due to patching it to 2.0.6d. In any case this is the offending line in the file: $sql = "DELETE FROM " . VOTE_RESULTS_TABLE . " WHERE vote_id = $poll_id"; if (!$db->sql_query($sql)) { message_die(GENERAL_ERROR, 'Error i...

Hi! I need the patch file package for the 2.0.6d. But I can't find it anywhere. I know that I can also use the full package but I can't because the files I'm using have gone through extensive modding. Are there plans to release the pacth file package?

Thanks,

Just wondering if the archived topics could be searched? Also when topics are archived what happens to the database tables which stores the post texts and the search.

Oh and is there a demo of it somewhere? As in I would like to see the output.

From the technical side it's not so a big Problem. But I think that most admins don't want that. If you have +1000 registered Users you'll have about 3 birthdays a day. That are 3 topics/threads a day extra. But let's hear what other people think. Agreed but I was actually thinking of only generati...

I was wondering if this mod could be extended to do the following. It would be great if not only does it display the birthday of the user on the calendar but it will create a new topic when the user's birthday is in x number of days time. The topic would be to wish the user a happy birthday and so t...

Yes,You can. In fact I'm using it together with Cash MOD. There are several lines of codes you need to edit. Most notably is the user_points. It should be changed to user_name_of your_cash_table.

Hi! I know what you mean. But the problem lies with the fact that I indeed have no idea how many iterations it would take to get a $itemfound for which the user does not have in his account. The whole point is that I do not want to give $itemfound to the user for which the user already have. No poin...

Hi! The preg_match will only be verified when the $itemfound has a particular value. If that is true then it will go and match with the user items. If that is also a match, then $item_repeat will be set to 1 and the loop will execute the previous codes again to obtain a new $itemfound value. If howe...

Is this code correct?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone here could help me look through the following lines of code and tell me whether it is corrrectly written for what I want it to do. Basically, what I need the code to do is to compare $itemfound with the user item. If the user already has the item, the code will get a di...
