Did you get it as a pre set-up package, eg. easyPhp?, or did you install them all seperate, if the second you may not have started mysql.

You could also try the default mysql user:

Username: root
Pass: <blank>

When I write a post and log in another ID, at that time the post icon is not changed. I think normail post icon have to be changed to NEW POST ICON. But, It's not working. Why do you want to remove it? You need to acces it to change any settings on your forum?

If you really want to i think it is in page_tail.tpl in your template directory, but i would advise you not to.

the idea is that the left frame links open in the right frame, it wouldn't work very well without frames.

You could remove the border, not sure where though.
